What do you want in Rayman 4?

I prefer free roaming, but the fact that Rayman Revolution combined the two with the Stone Circles is even better.

Revolution had a freeroam hub with linear levels.

I want it the other way around.

I want a linear hub (a Hall of Doors, to be precise), and freeroam levels (Sanctuary of Fire and Stone style).

But that would be so confusing!
Oh, and the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire isn't REALLY free-roaming. It's just very big, and then there's an extra hidden area. Super Mario 64 has levels with real free-roaming.

I don't see how the sanctuaries are free roaming. I don't think any of the levels in Rayman 2 are completely free roaming.

The Sanctuary of Fire and Stone was free-roam, and it was the best level of all.

AAAHHH, THIS WAY FREE-ROAMING! YOU SHOULD TELL IT AT START! There you're right, I would like to see more levels like this.

You know, I mean something another with free-roaming. I mean, whole game is like GTA or another "run-thru-city" game.

I don't see how the sanctuaries are free roaming. I don't think any of the levels in Rayman 2 are completely free roaming.

You know, the "hidden area" isn't hidden at all. So, you have got 2 ways. (And no "return" or "forward" choice.)

I would like to most of worlds like this.

By this, I don't mean followed path thatall worlds are based on 6 levels, I mean any world would be total mess.

That has nothing to do with free roaming though. You've just listed the secret passages and shortcuts.

Yes, but I don't like the idea of "true" free roaming.

I suppose, most R2 levels are free roaming in a way though. Levels such as The Marshes of Awakening are not, however. It's just the Hall of Doors isn't at all.

I go for true free-roaming.
BTW, i have an idea for a new boss in Rayman 4. A grey-skinned woman, who looks like a human being, but with sharp vampire teeth. She is wearing a dark colored cape, and she is extremely fast and athletic. She can perform amazing stunts, and Rayman can't hit her with his fist, so he'll have to use a new power that allows him to shoot white lasers out of his hands. Later, she grows wings, and her eyes turn yellow so you can't see the pupils. Rayman will realise that she is really a demon. She charges at Rayman, and he will have to dodge her. After doing that three times, she will fly around in front of Rayman, and he gets a change to hit her with the laser. Repeat the process to win the fight.

I haven't thought up a name for her yet, but when i have, i'll make a profile of her, along with other bosses i've made up.

Biography: She was created by the horrible monster, known as Tewono, to help it conquer the world. When Tewono was defeated by The World Spirit (Polokus), she escaped to an island beyond the sea. Here, she made huge statues to worship her creator, but when people started to immigrate to the land, she escaped into deep inside the caves, and was never seen since. But strange things started to happen to the people on the island. They started to wear capes and hoods, they got bored pretty quick and they got a creepy accent. Some of them tried to leave the island because they were affraid, but they couldn't. The island was later named Soricania.

Attacks: Silver Bird Storm (she unleahes a huge army of silver birds, that Rayman will have to dodge), punching and kicking.

In other words, you don't want R4 to be platformer? You want a RPG or FPS? O.K., but this would not be R4 at all, right?
