No; I'm tired of repeating the same thing over and over. I'm off to RZ to end the argument with Raydragon.

Awesome, the landscape pics look great..... but how will Rayman look in this one? 0_o
Well, I am MGKeyes, the guy who uploaded all the music but the video there shows Rayman's model at the moment. Rayfan says he'll make it better before he releases it.

I'm looking forward to Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark. More details here:

That is just amazing. Really, it really is.

Though (s)he may look after some points :

1) When the Rayman model's walking, it looks like he's bounding down.
2) There are a couple of objects i noticed in some of the images : A mill and an iron bridge " hanging " in the sky. I don't really know, but i don't think these things really " fit " into Rayman's world, since they don't really have " that " Rayman style. Feel free to correct me, though.

Apart from that, this is just... wow !

Rayfan's a he and there was a windmill in one of the RRR teaser trailers (the one where the rabbids blast a hole in the couch through the Wii). Also there is a topic about it here at PC.

I think that the Wii version is going to be good enough by the videos I watched, but I'm still not sure about the DS version.

It's not actually a game, but what do you guys think of the Playstation 3 Slim ?

I think it's got great potential. The main reason why the Playstation 3 couldn't start concurring with the other consoles, was it's price. Now it's getting affordable. Especially compared to the Wii. And it's got all the benefits, like the Playstation Network and a blue ray player as well.

I'm not to fond of all the slimlines, sister's boyfriend says they heat up too much because they're so thin. My clunky old PS2 still works just fine.

Yes, and it's being released in four days. It was only announced yesterday, too.

Just because the slim PS2's cooling system was poorly designed doesn't mean the slim PS3's will be, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

~Some of you may be interested to know that Sony filed a patent for a software-based PS2 emulator for the PS3 a few weeks ago. So, chances are that backwards-compatibility with PS2 games is coming, either in the form of a free firmware update, a PSN download you can purchase, or a 'PS2 Classics' download thing. Time will tell

Those are news to me that thing of Slim PS3, thanks Spiral to tell me.

The actual European PS3s just the fact of being taken off the compactibility with PS2/PSX games was just a stupid thing... But I think that one reason for that was existing errors on the PS2/PSX games when runned on it...

The PS2 was backwards-compatible with the PSX because it contained the PSX CPU as an I/O chip. The PS3 also contains this chip but versions with hard drives don't have room for the PS2 chip so they are not backwards-compatible with the PS2. This is all I know about backwards-compatibility in the PlayStation series but I have never owned a PlayStation anything so I don't know much about the subject.

PS1 is emulated by PS3; no I/O chip there.

Launch PS3s had the PS2's Emotion Engine chip and ran PS2 games quite well, with occasional emulation glitches. Current PS3s (anything other than the 20GB and 60GB models) have had the Emotion Engine removed in order to lower costs.

~All PS3s can play PS1 games (with no glitches afaik), from original PS1 discs, or from the HDD (as downloadable PSN versions of PS1 games). The latter also work on all PSPs...

Yeah, I researched it. It turns out I got the idea of an I/O chip in my head through unknown means. Maybe I need to see a psychiatrist. :P

At the moment, I'm definitely looking forward to MGS Peace Walker, but I wish it were for PS3, not PSP...
Splinter Cell Conviction could be OK, but it looks too unrealistic. Apparently there's gonna be a Battlefront 3 as well which should be good multiplayer.
I am absolutely not looking forward to the new Call of Duty though, I'm sick of people saying it's the best game ever, while it is just another shooter!
