I've always thought it too.
When I decided to play the English version I was like ''I don't remember it that way :P ''
If I'm not mistaken it was translated by Bartosz Więrzbieta? He always sneaks some adult jokes in his ''works'' (I mean translations).

Yeah, I was like that too...
It was Bartosz Wierzbięta (you replaced 'e' with 'ę' and vice versa)...
Really? I don't remember any adult content in Rayman 2 and he translated that too...
Other than that - I know of the Polish translations of the Shrek (animated movies) being his work (at least three parts)... What else did he translate?

Wikipedia says he translated a lot. And I do mean a lot.
Lots of movies like Rango, Hoodwinked!, Asterix movies... the list is too long.

If you ask me, I prefer a diffrent site regarding info like that - Filmweb. Now that I look there, there's no information about any video games...
Speaking of dubs, did you know that in the PL dub Rayman was voiced by the same voice actor as Fred from the Scooby Doo series (at least the animated ones)?

Whoa nelly
Now that you mention it... it seems so.

Can't... unhear...

OK gang, let's split up!
Whatever you say, Rayman.

Stacey noticed the resemblance two and a half years ago.

Oh that. I still think the voice acting in RR sucked.

It doesn't seem so... IT IS IN REALITY!
Jacek Kopczyński voiced both Rayman (in R3 since it's the only version for PC that contained dialog of any sort [or are there console versions in PL?] which required voice acting) and Fred (in nearly all animated series).

@ spiraldoor: What?
Oh. But it isn't resemblance in case of Polish dub. It IS for real!
In all honesty, I wouldn't find any better voice ator for our version...

WTF, that voice actor even voiced SPONGEBOB?! Wow...

Oh, and I also forgot Andre says something that can be loosely translated into "F*** you!" at one point in gameplay...
It's in the Fairy Council, before he goes by that door and after Murfy tells to not let him escape...

Do you mean the one that is about to poop?

I laugh my ass off every time I see it. Kinda Conker-ish.

Back on topic, I really like the dual-level humour in Rayman 3. Globox is a perfect example: children will laugh at his behaviour, while adults will enjoy his massive booze-up.

Ahaha, his best lines are in Clearleaf Forest, my favourite of which being "Hey... Rayman, why can't you fly like me and everyone else?

That was one of the funniest from Globox. :P

My favourite line is when he says he forgot where he parked his car. Not sure what the exact sentence is, I've only played the French version.

I believe the correct sentence is "Hey Rayman, can't you fly? *hic* ...like everyone else?"

But that's how I always heard it. Is it in the R3HD captions?

He says "I can't even remember where I parked!" in English. What does he say in the French version?

Yeah, that's it! It's even funnier when put like that.
