Rayman Pirate-Community

FYI: I haven't been posting updates because you know what I mean when I say that I'd want the majority of it to be veiled until I'm done. And of course I'm still working on it. And thanks to Bunnieblaster for figuring out Rayman M model ripping it's gonna speed up a lot of design, as I can also take models from that and not just character models. I guess I could even re-render scenes from Rayman Arena intro CryEngine2!

yeah, and another thing about your rayman model. If you play rayman 1 (in my opinion the very best game) you see that rayman also has a third "hairthingy" thats going backwards from the head. I dunno why ubisoft cut this away from the other raymangames, but dude... it would be awesome if you put it in there ;D

I think they cut it out and later turned it into a little fluff of hair (Rayman 3) just because it would otherwise look kind of silly.

There's no way I'm doing the hair thing. Maybe I will eventually but probably not.

It's ripped from Rayman 3, but I added detail and smoothed it.

Raygirl is also in this game. Does anyone have any idea for the "hair"? I've seen versions where it's been long brown hair but I've also seen regular Rayish hair, and I don't know what design would work best.

His name's mostly referred to as Moskito in this. And yes he's good.

I would say brown hair.

Brown hair is in a nice contrast with raymans orange/yellow hair.

she should be able to helicopter too, so maybe give her "heli-able" hair, with other colors too
Of course you should have another hair design than rayman's, but it should be able to helicopter
