Doubt they ever would due to the amount of negativity from fans and bad sales + mediocre critic reviews which lead to the development team downfall and closure. Anyways the last offical crash game was CNK 2 (2010) for IOS, which featured all the characters back in their original forms.

I stumbled upon this fan game. Which is pretty early in development.

Funny enough the only Crash games I've ever played were Twinsanity and Tag Team Racing (which I both love). I've played Crash 2 only up to the end of World 1,though it was pretty enjoyable in gameplay. Crash 1 is the one I really want to play most since to what I've seen in videos of the game.
