Apples, Pears, Kiwis, Grapes, Bananas, Cherries, Strawberries...Lots of fruits! Though there's so many listed here I'm starting to get reminded of when I played through Pacman World 1...Good times. :v
I put the first five in a blender and made fruit smoothies when it turned 109 here, everyone loved them!

Bananas are berries tho :fou2:

On topic, I think Watermelons are the best fruit, they are just perfect :manger:

Ewwwww, watermelons are trash. But the seed spitting would probably be fun though!

I will always think that a good melon is probably the best thing that a person can ever eat. It's simply perfect

Am curious about trying a jade dew melon but otherwise I don’t really like melons that much either.

Well no, actually, because I think it's the kind of fruit that Yoshi eats in Yoshi's Story.
Ambidextroid wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:42 pm As far as I understand a fruit is anything that encases the seed, which includes cucumbers, peppers, sweetcorn and even rice. A vegetable is any plant matter that's not a fruit.

My favourite fruit probably remains the mighty mango, though I haven't had one in ages. Strawberries are really good and a lot more convenient so they might just usurp mangoes. That being said, since strawberries have seeds on the outside, I wonder if they count as vegetables :fou:
You know, it's kind of interesting how different botanists see these fruits compared to how they're viewed from a culinary standpoint. If we really wanted to look into the botanist side of things, some of these fruits actually would be berries, such as bananas, grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. On the flip side, there are some 'berries' that actually aren't berries at all such as the strawberry. The 'seeds' on them are actually fruits called 'achenae' or something like that so it classifies more like an aggregate fruit. Raspberries and blackberries are also aggregrate fruits apparently.

Well by that logic then so are “fruits” like tomatoes, squash, and peas, but not strawberries or blueberries. :P

Yes, that’s what I was hinting at! At least I’d assume so

Mango is probably my favourite. Raspberry, passionfruit, fig and pineapple are also up high.

I don't know why, but I'm not big on berries in my smoothie other than strawberries. Maybe it's the stuff i put in but it tastes bitter to me and weird.
