Rayman Pirate-Community

"Won't say a word." Maroney said, still taking in what the robo-pirate had said. ".......Have you seen anything wierd in the ocean? Like, anything big or strong enough to throw someone out of the water?"

Clunk scratched his head again to try and think of something. "Well us Robo-Pirates can't touch the water, we tend to rust really quickly. Oh, except for the Capt'n. He seems to have some strange immunity towards rust. We ran into some trouble with the king in Gourmand Land while preparing the invasion, but apart from that, I can't think of anything close to the water that we've been troubled by." He started to think some more. "Though the Capt'n may know otherwise, he frequently scouts the water region and returns with live pink things. I think he called them Eelockteens, or something like that."

Meanwhile in the forest, the pirates were in hot pursuit of the tiny antitoon. "Don't let it get away, or I'll have to choose a new band of fierce warriors that actually HAVE brains!" A few of the pirates fell over, grasping the antitoon but all that ended up happening was the tiny creature constantly slipping out of pirates' hands like a bar of soap. The Admiral charged forward and was catching up with the little creature. "Come here you little troublemaker you-" He stopped as he reached a the edge of a steep mountain formation. The pirates, not knowing what was going on (and now having built up too much speed to slow down) ended up knocking into the leader and they all fell off the side of the mountain, landing in a pile at the bottom.

You know what, I kind of want to keep this Roleplay going. I am not sure what we are going to do about Faithman's case of Sudden Raymanian Death Syndrome but we'll find a way around it... Right?

I guess we'll just pretend he was never even there, and just a figurement of Maroney's imagination... Woooo, scary. I mean, you know these rastas don't you?
Or we could just continue it and pretend he's still there? But in any case I'd love to continue this one.
(He did say Faithman dies at the end, so let's just put in some filler where his character would normally go. Logistics.)

Maybe he temporarily ascended to a higher plane of existence, and will return as a being enlightened.

Although we're not allowed to control other people's characters, I think we'll have to just somehow make Faithman simply leave Maroney's house somehow.

Maroney looked down and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. He had never been in a situation like this before. All there was to do was to just wait for the captain to return so the ship would leave. When Maroney lifted his head back up, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that Faithman wasn't there anymore.
"Faithman?" Maroney said, surprised to see that the space the Rayman lookalike once occupied was now empty. "Faithman!? Dude, where did Faithman go!?"

Sideways just stood frozen in a terrified-looking position. The antitoon was right in front of him.
"Ah-aahh, uhh... I..." He stuttered, staring the antitoon right in the eye.

*Part of me secretly wants to join in on this role-play, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep up. Plus the fact, I guess I'm going to have to read every page before starting to have a clue what's going on ! At least a way around the Faithman issue seems to have been found *

((Yeah, you should totally join this roleplay! It needs more people! Besides, the roleplay doesn't go to quickly anyway, only a few posts a day at most.))

Has this think had a constant storyline from the start, or does it just turn into something different every few pages? I'd imagine it would have to, considering users will come in and drop out of a role play all the time (see Raymanfan2000 ).
Also, is there a preference for real Rayman characters or fan characters? I noticed the original post said anyone can be either but as I haven't been following, I don't know what direction the story's taken.

I guess I could dig up one of my old fan characters, or write for an existing character with R1"TAS" personality

Klunk noticed the sudden absence of the limbless guy too. "Hey, where did that little guy go?"

Meanwhile in the woods, the Pirates had all piled up at the bottom of the very high cliff they were faced with just a moment ago. Elite got up and dusted himself off. "Well that was a great bloody waste. We didn't gain a power source but only lost near off a whole group." He turned around to the pile of jittering robotic parts. "Are any of you still functioning over there?"
"I am Capt'n!" Yelled a purple coat pirate.
"Good. Because I think we just hit the jackpot..." Elite's grumpy expression turned once again to one of evil charm. He then turned back and pointed towards an unguarded cage of electoons, desperate to escape.
"Oh goody! But what about the other crew members Capt'n?" Queried the pirate.
"Don't worry about that my lad, I have an old friend who resides here who just so happens to be a fantastic mechanic. Anyway,important matters first. Let's get those electoons in a lovely, spacious new cage..."

((Say, am I allowed to just introduce some new characters as this thing goes along? I'm trying to keep a story going here between the ranks.))

((Feel free to join in, the story doesn't go too fast. Tbh, there isn't really anything going on until about the... 6/7th page I think? And yeah, I've got this massive story going on invloving the Pirates' second invasion and stuff. I think mostly we're all fancharacters. So yeah, please do think about joining.
Also Dragon, do you think it'd be easier for you try and become the person in charge of this Roleplay thread instead of Raymanarenaps2?))

((Well, things have happened, but the story is only just about to get into a decent plot, since only RF2000, Edditaur and I have been rolaplaying, plus a little bit of Raymanarenaps2. So far all that's happened worth mentioning is Elite (the robot) crashing a ship into Maroney's house, thinking Faithman was Rayman, then all the pirates but Clunk went chasing after an antitoon. Clunk, Maroney and Faithman were at the house having an awkward conversation and then Faithman suffered an odd case of Sudden Raymanian Death Syndrome and disappeared. And Sideways is in his clock store being threatened by an antitoon.))

Maroney suddenly panicked and dashed around the house.
"Faithman? FAITHMAN!?" He called out, completely confused. "Ahh.... That's totally wierd....."

((Is there any particular version of the Rayman universe this is set in, because judging by all the Robo-pirates and such I'm getting a big Rayman 2 vibe, but I know your characters are inspired by the first game. Sorry about all the annoying questions, I just wanted to have a few things cleared up so I know what I'm doing/who to be))

"Oh God, I'm so bad at this guarding thing... The Capt'n's gonna grill me for this." Clunk was pacing around the blasted room in a clockwise motion, tapping his head with his hook in the hopes it would reduce stress. "What a hopeless first mate you are Clatters, I tell you to guard one simpleton and you let him die and someone I didn't even know about escape without a trace!" Clunk was trying to imitate Admiral Elite's deeper voice. With all of the tapping he'd been doing his hook became loose again and started to hang from a single bolt on his arm. "Oh nuts! Not again with this!" He exclaimed.

(( I figured it was set after Origins, which is what I've been rolling with currently. Which kind of fits in with the robot's storyline and some more recent encounters which he'd rather forget having. So I'd say after Origins for this one.))

((I don't think there's a particular universe, although Sideways is in the Dream Forest of the Valley. New characters will need bios and such but only short ones.))

Maroney Shrugged. He hadn't seen Faithman disappear either, but he had a feeling he wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.

Unable to find a clear path around the antitoon, Sideways did the unthinkable- he jumped straight out of the broken window beside him, getting a bit scratched up by broken glass on the way out. He landed on the grass with a tumble, unable to tell for a moment whether his hands and feet stayed where they were meant to be.
