It's a Rabbids game. It has no connection what-so-ever with Rayman other than that disgusting past 3 years of history with them! There is no point in buying this (unless for wiki purposes, hehe), and that wasted money will go in support of it!
No i´m not planning to buy it. :)
Same here, i will NEVER buy a Rabbid game, only download them..... just like everything other game i don´t know and isn´t a Rayman, Zelda, Castlevania, Mario RPG or Layton game.

I wouldn't buy it even if I had a Wii or a DS.

I don't have a lot of money to spend on games right now.. : ( If I did, I might get the DS version just to see how craptacular it is.

I'm going to do what I normally do with video games that I'm not dying to own

Wait for a year or so after they're realeased and buy them from a car boot sale at a fraction of the price ;) RESULT.

Now if only that worked for Psychonauts :(

I bought Psychonauts at launch. :D

Though it's PC launch price was $30.

Same with Beyond Good & Evil too, actually (bought at launch for cheap PC version price).

Those were the good days before the "Games for Windows" initiative that made PC games just as much as console games.

People also gave good reviews about that game. What has Psychonauts so special at all?

I've not played it myself, but people have told me is amazing and different, and well worth playing for being something new and unusual

And this might explain a few things:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/ ... sychonauts

Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil are two games that are relatively hard to track down second hand...or even first hand o_o Unless you look online (and that's no fun) most second hand shops don't have copies of either games. I take that as a sign of a bloody good game when no one wants to give it up...that or no one bought it originally hence there are less people to give it away/trade it in.

Though I did find a PC copy of Rayman 2 in a junk shop once. if i didn't already have two copies of the game I would have bought it just because I felt it was tragic that is was rotting away in a junk shop

You should probaly sell it to someone like me, but I don't know much about the different regions and what they restricitions they have with games.

*neo tries to put a uk version game into a us version n64 :[*

I don't know if it doesn't matter though. :p

You see this?

Spy is guarding my laptop, and my Psychonauts. You're not taking mine either.

I see copies of Beyond Good and Evil at quite a few stores though, especially floating around in bargain bins. I'll be honest in saying that the PC version is a little glitchy, and if you really are looking for a good experience, to scan through for the GC and XBox copies I keep seeing around here in Wal-Mart and EB Games.

Psychonauts is quite a unique platforming experience really. It had the multiple gravity directions and multiple worlds thing down way before Super Mario Galaxy did it. Plus it's fun to set stuff on fire once you get pyrokenesis.

What'd you say Spy? Pyro? I'm sorry, Spy. :( I won't mention him again! No! Don't leave my copy of Psychonauts unguarded!

I'm gonna get a copy of Psychonauts too, @ Gamespot they say it's a platformer legend (not as much as a legend like Rayman 2, that's the #1 PC 3D platformer there :) )

Inkscape <3

Oh I feel your pain when it comes to looking for a game like that. There was a time when I was looking EVERYWHERE for games like Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, which I looked in game shops within a 100 mile radius , until I found one for full price in my local GAME shop. It's brilliant and worth the 30 quid though. Same would apply to when I found my copy of Rayman on GBC, man when I saw it [and that was at a time when the GBC was practically dead] in Sainsburys I was just whizzing around being all "MUM CAN I HAVE A TENNER I FOUND IT YEEEEESSSSS".

Sometimes when you look all over, you get lucky, other times you don't, and then eBay would be a last resort.

Edit: back on topic, finally found footage of another terrible band related game on the PS1.

Cheap pre-owned games are all that I buy nowadays, if I'm lucky. :(

I'd kill to buy Rayman games etc. off the likes of eBay!

Are the GC and XBox versions better then the PS2 version ? I have the PS2 version, and i have been enjoying it very much. There's only a little bug that occurs from time to time: a sound ( for example, Jade getting hurt ) keeps repeating. But for the rest it's excellent.

And I might try Psychonauts one day.
