You and me both, Goop. When I hear "AAA" from Ubisoft, rather than "fun gameplay" and "Rayman characters coming back," the only words that come to mind are "corporate greed."

These are also concerns of mine; I can't have this taking even half as long as BG&E 2! And if they litter the game with microtransactions (Adventures has done that before, so it's not out of the question for the Rayman brand), I just might riot.

That's one of the things I'm worried about; I can handle a one-time inexpensive DLC purchase for all of the characters and skins, but I can't have folks like Raymesis and Sir Rayelot being locked behind multiple battle passes!

On that note, I would love it if characters like Globox, the Teensies, and Barbara (maybe even newly-playable ones, like Ly or Murfy - no, I don't count Legends Murfy as fully playable) were playable characters in the next Rayman game, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. It'd add a lot more variety to the game (and probably another way for Ubisoft to milk players dry by locking them behind purchases too ).

If this is a remake of the first game, they should bring back Rémi Gazel to recompose the soundtrack.

YEah i was just about to say that.. Maybe theyll remaster the soundtrack instead?

I know the leaker said the Rayman 3 remaster will be bare bones but I'm hoping they include the art from the Rayman Origins art book in the remaster like they did in Rayman 3 HD. I know it won't happen though.

All I want is the original madder for the title screen (which is also able to link with Spotify so you can play whatever music you want in the intro), EXTRA Wanna Kick Rayman videos (All 547!), and a “special thanks to the pirate community” in the credits, preferably having “ESPECIALLY YOU GREENGOOP!” Afterwards. Also maybe an actual full 50 set of trophies.

No Ubisoft Forward this year, So are they going to be quiet on Rayman or an anniversary celebration direct thingy

Not surprised. Their sales are down, there’s a trail going on rn and most people hate their ass. I imagine they don’t really have anything to announce either.

Yeah. I can't verify this info, but from what I've heard it's been in pre-production from around April 2024 to April 2025. So about a year of pre-production, with full development starting fairly recently. That's probably why we've been seeing job postings for the project now as well.

The most I can hope for is possibly some short teaser for the big anniversary that's coming up in September now.

I'll believe in when I see it. We also haven't seen anything from the Splinter Cell remake yet.

This is indeed too early for whatever big project they're working on right now, but they could announce smaller things too. Let's see.
