Rayman Pirate-Community

I think Rayman actually looks pretty decent here, He has a bit more of an extracted expression, And idw if its just me but he kinda looks like the SOH design here

How come this depiction of Rayman always looks better in-game (during gameplay and in pre-rendered cutscenes) compared to his promo art? I don't know why, but something about his expression here just looks unnatural to me. Maybe I'll warm up to it as I look at it more, but right now this is probably my least favorite official render of Retold Rayman.
