Why do you ask?

It's a one-of-a-kind talent!
Are you saying that Ubisoft have no other talents or that no other companies recycle products?

GameSpot has a new interview with Michel Ancel. It’s nearly six minutes long so I assume it might have some interesting information in it.
http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6316230/
Edit: It contains some new footage of the interior of La Villa, and there’s some never-before-seen concept art on the walls. Ancel spends a lot of time talking about the game’s development process.

That I've never seen another company do it this much.

Those videos were already posted Spiral.
I was with the fear of the piracy to be the main reason for not being done a PC version. It is also true that doesn't mean it will never be released for the PC but I would love this to happen.
That's ok, I'll be able to grab the Wii version.

ok, first of all, I signed up here for the sole reason of posting my worries about the game.
as a rayman fan from the very beginning (I'm the one who posted the in game footage video all that time ago), I am ashamed that I didn't notice this before. it's also weird that no one else noticed it before and posted it in the forums but maybe I didn't see. i'm talking about something I felt when I first saw the trailer. I felt something was missing. something rayman-like...
now I finally got it: in every combat part in every gameplay video of RO, rayman does NOT throw his FISTS! he fights like a mario wuss or something of the sort, and he doesn't have projectiles. this is exactly like what they did with kirby's epic yarn. for those not familiar with the title, it's the new kirby game where kirby can't swallow enemies and get their powers. THIS IS THE SAME!
also, do you people know why ubisoft suddenly changed their mind about rayman raving rabbids and decided to make it a party game? it was because of the wii, my miserable gamers, the wii that made them see the game's 'potential' as a rayman party game. now look at where we are today. another very promising rayman game is about to be released, and we get the wii u.
I'll let you do two plus two for yourselves.

How do we know if the Wii-U is gonna be full of party games with a great big controller like that? Rayman 4 being aborted in favour of RRR was a big mistake yes, but with about 3 nominations for E3 related awards already I doubt they'll do that again.

Not to mention that Origins is far into development, and already playable at E3.

Rayman can obviously throw his fists in Origins. We see Globox doing it in the demo, and we’ve been told that the characters all have the same powers.
The possible revelation that Mr Dark is a Teensie got me thinking. Does anyone reckon it’s possible that the Photographer in Rayman 1 is a Teensie too? The same Teensie that acts as the Photographer in Rayman Origins? They serve exactly the same function in the two games and one is very clearly based on the other; as was the case with Mr Dark, we never saw the Photographer’s face, and now that the limblessness of the original game’s characters has been rendered non-canonical, all bets are off. The only part of the Photographer we ever really saw was the large eye which was visible under his hair; perhaps that’s why the eye of the new Teensie Photographer is so prominent?

Rayman didn't throw his fists in the second game, but that didn't stop it from becoming one of the greatest (Rayman) games ever made.
I'm extremely pleased with the way this game looks. I did initially have strong reservations about the game being 2D, but after watching the demo and trailer I'm viewing it more like a superior Mario game. I'm also impressed by how the developers have managed to combine the magic of all four previous games: they've obviously kept Rayman 1's 2D gameplay, they've re-captured Rayman 2's magical scenery and music style, they've enabled a multiplayer like Rayman M, and they've even incorporated Rayman 3's wacky style with humorous graphics and Globox.

Nice theory. It makes me think in the same thing. Maybe the Teensie Photographer is the same person as the one of R1, except with different gear, clothing and a blond wig.

Dango, please be nicer to newcomers. Because you don't agree with iambored2006, who was proven wrong by Spiral by the way, doesn't mean you have to consider his messages as plain whining.

well, no actually what I meant to say was that there were instances in the past when I wanted to post something but it wasn't important enough so I didn't register, but now I was really worried about the fist thing (btw, thanks spiral, I'm really relieved now!) so I decided to sign up so I could share this.

If only less people had that attitude. Usually there are more guests online than there are registered users!

Rayman will be able to fist again, and besides that is seen in the end of the E3 2010 Trailer. There's nothing to worry about.
Why don't you present yourself here, by the way?

I found this strange new image on the Rayman Facebook page. It hasn’t been posted here yet, so I’m not sure if anyone else has seen it.

I've seen it. It is most likely we will be able to see other kinds of fruits other than oranges and watermelons.

I'm out of the best members poll, I don't have to be nice to people anymore!
Jokes aside, I didn't really post that out of annoyance or disagreement, as much as out of surprise that he joined the place simply to complain about a few things he didn't like about the game.

You aren't required to post lots of important things or anything though. We're happy to accept new members who join just for the fun of it.
