That's not so shocking. It's even possible to have a great-great-great grandad still alive if all reproduction was legal and correct, but it's very rare I suppose.

My last great-grandad died several years ago, but I still have two great-granmas...

My great grandpa died when I was 7 I think. Lung Cancer got to him. He was a War Vet too.
Great Gramma still lives though. Not in tip top health, but still able to somewhat take care of herself.

I don't know about great grandparents but both of my grandads died when I was only 2.

my family is generally young...I'm 20 and my Dad is almost 40. 8\
I think Grandpa is 60.
So...Great Gramma is probably 80 or 90.

My grandma is indeed young, when you can name it so, 60. One of my granma's died when she was 75, she had lung cancer.

My family are pretty young, but they'd also look young if it wasn't for the drinking.
