Hm, so I was not the only one who noticed it.

I'm sure it is a coincidence since Rayman Legends is a more distant game from Rayman 1 than Origins.

Or maybe it was for tribute. Just how in RO there was confusion about Mr. Dark. He was planned to be in game but that idea was scrapped. Both Space Mama and M. Dark are R1 bosses and both scrapped for newer games hm? (yes I know it's not officially Space Mama on concept art but it really looks like)

Legends seemed to want to distance itself moreso than Origins with the whole past enemies idea, I'm doubtful that was intentional.

About Rayman's age: Just to add something, i hear alot that in Origins, Rayman had been sleeping for 100 years. I don't know if that's official information, or
something someone pulled out of their Ray-hole.

Actually, that is in Legends and not Origins.

That's an error I'm willing to overlook given the use of the term 'Ray-hole'.

Meh, I take the 100 year thing to heart, it makes sense in some regards, given how the locales in Legends correspond to to those in Origins.
Of course, one could take the 100 year thing in various ways, perhaps it was 100 Rayman years, for instance? Either ways, this sort of thing seems better suited to probably either the Lore or Headcanon threads.

I'll always see Rayman as being 17-18 years old, regardless of whatever Legends says. There's very little story in there and it's silly anyway, so I don't take it seriously at all.

Me too. From R3 and onwards Rayman for me does not change age and no matter what game plot says he never will.

Meh, to each their own, though this seems to be more headcanons than lore.

Am I the only one who thinks teenage chatacters are overrated, anyway?
