I was never scared of the Knareen, I found their dialogue to be humorous, sure, they made me jump when they popped out of nowhere, but that was in surprise, never in fear.
The Mini-Janos were the ones who invoked fear upon me, getting too close to them resulted in them EATING Rayman, and given my age at the time, it fuelled many a nightmare.

Well i don't really fear of the knaarens neither, i just wrote something to that sentence.
I always scared of Jano while being a kid. I even had a nightmare 2 or 3 years ago, in which i was at the end of the Marshes of the Awakening, but there was a boggy-like coast and there was a tree, where Jano was being hidden beneath. He said i can't enter the Cave of Bad Dreams, but even though i jumped through the spiral door then found myself in the cave and Jano was trying to eat me. That was sort of a nightmare.
