That's the exact fix I did for my cartridges. No more annoying text has ever appeared. 8)

I will need help from a United States resident. Diancie is being officially distributed through codes given away in GameStop shops. Could anyone around here get me a code, please? It is one of the 3 missing Pokémon I need to fully complete my Pokédex.

After watching a playthrough of Hoen again, I really have decided that's my favourite Pokemon region. Even though the first one I played was Kanto, and that still is a classic. What's everyone else's favourite region?

I really hope the remake keeps all the changes they made in Emerald.

Meh, I began with Sinnoh, not everyone's favourite, but I looked them. Best overall for me that I've played is HGSS

I've never really liked that one much, but then again I've only played it through a couple of times. I should really give it another shot.

Kanto and Hoenn are my top regions of Pokémon. I did have lots of fun with the two adventures linked with those regions. Unova was the least appealing for me.

Yeah my friend wasn't too keen on Unova. There's only like 10 more days or something till OR/AS!

Hah, well I'll be waiting a lot longer then that, because I'll probably pick it up by the time the next Pokemon game is out!

Don't you live in Europe though? I believe the codes are region locked, and you will need one from Europe for it to be accepted.

I'd like to help, but I'm not sure I'd want to blow $40 on a game that I'll quickly get bored of. :c

I sadly learnt about this recently and I think it is too late for North Americans anyway.

@Bred You are not forced to buy the game to get the code.

Region locked codes make less sense than even locked games. Sucks that availability is not worldwide same too.
