Uhm, you didn't get my point about the location. It isn't concerning the framerate quality but I tend to get motion sickness if I play during a travel. I know the game doesn't take advantage of the 3D at 100% which gives an extra reason for me to not mind in playing in 2D.
Funny enough, I also played NSMB2 in 3D.

I get your point I'm simply saying the 3D is still crap on Pokemon, it did absolutely nothing. Look at games like Smash Bros, Resident Evil Revelations, those games took good advantage of the 3D, hell, even Rayman 3D showed me more then Pokemon X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. I was making another note on the subject of the utilization of the 3DS's 3D feature, not location. I'm basically trying to get an understanding why anyone would enjoy X/Y or OR/AS in 3D, when the framerate drops to the single digits at times, it's unbearable.
You have ports of PS2 games running at a steadier framerate on 3DS: Metal Gear Solid 3D, and sometimes ports of PS3/360 games running smoother on 3DS, Super Street Fighter IV 3D. If these games can run smoothly in 3D, I think Pokemon has to be capable, Game Freak was probably just more concerned with making a better experience then a better, more steady framerate with good 3D. Don't get me started on NSMB2, while it was nice to see it not lagging, holy crap was the 3D on that game bad, it simply blurred out the background and rendered the sprites to pop out a bit, it is an incredibly lazy feature.
I really hope the rumor for Pokemon running more smooth on the new 3DS is true, and we can get perfect 3D in the overworld/battles.

So everybody is placing their eyes in the CPU of the new 3DS. Will anyone in the forum adquire one when it comes out? If I had to chance to get the system I would go for the XL model this time.

Will probably get it for Xenoblade Chronicles which is going to be exclusive to it.

I can get Xenoblade on Wii so Nintendo has to convince me with some other exclusive. I aim for Japanese version of system.

Hmm, I've been watching the playthroughs of ORAS, have to say, the amount of legendaries is staggering, more so is the means of which some have to be unlocked. Also really love the flying music and Wallys final battle theme, to name a few. I've seen snippets of the Delta Episode, and the Deoxys encounter is magnificent, they even reference the puzzle that caused it to appear back in Emerald.
I also understand now what you meant in regards to there being a sequel, Serza. Yeah, there do seem to be some call-forwards that do give a little more credence to the idea of Gamma/Delta Emerald, though I'm still uncertain, given the Delta Episode. Guess time will tell.

On top of what i've said earlier there also [References to the Battle Frontier, although I never looked at those spoilers in depth I do believe it to talk of it being in the process of being built, where the Battle Resort is. ]. It's hard to say if this could mean Emerald or sequels given the events of the Delta Episode but the fact it does make mention of exclusive Emerald events that "are going to happen" does at least show that there's a space for them in the timeline, exactly how though is questionable. That in mind though I do also re-call rumours regarding Z / XY2 having a second region which could be Battle Frontier & Wallace.

Today I will quickly check FNAC to see if by any luck they already sell the game in the shelves. It happens a lot starting to sell a day earlier.

I've been taking my sweet time with the game, it's pretty enjoyable for the most part, but HOLY CRAP, I really hate how much it holds your hand for you at times, May often offers to transport you to a location immediately, this really takes away from the immersion/sense of adventure I got from Hoenn. Game hands out legendaries like free candy. Seriously Game Freak needs to stop making these so ridiculously easy. I'm sorry, I am liking the game so far, even loving some aspects, but I really need to criticize this one thing since barely anyone else will. I get they're trying to appeal to a wider audience, but while Pokemon isn't too hard in comparison to other RPG's, it still is known for putting up a fair challenge, this really just feels piss poor easy at times.
On a good note, the new Secret Bases are pretty awesome.

I managed my copy yesterday night! And for luck I managed the limited edition since the shop I went only had 1 per version. The steelbook is much preetier in real than in the official images.
Also, I got a Poochyena with Thunder Fang.

And this is why it is often rewardable to wait for the release rather than pre-order the game. I had issues with delivery dates because of pre-ordera, with the worst case being Rayman Legends.

I really appreciated the eye-blinks to the Game Boy Advance era during the introduction scene. It is a real sweet treat for the oldest players that caught R/S/E.

I have a game shop near me and I haven't had a single problem with any pre-order, always got it first day, and sometimes midnight.
Oh and that's another cool addition to the remake, the nod to the GBA version, pretty cool stuff.

I definitely like how they've made Mauville a properly big place. Before it felt pretty cool, but now it sort of lives up to it's main town expectations. I'm looking forward to seeing what they've done with New Mauville and the abandoned ship!

@Rayfist Well, I had no issues concerning the Mario Kart 8 pre-order. I got it in the release date by the near end of the afternoon. Now in other cases, I remember to have waited at least one extra day due to transportation issues . But the worst experience I had with a pre-order was Rayman Legends for Wii U. The local distributors were in holidays period (according to the clarification of the FNAC worker that I've confronted in the release date of the game) and because of that all games that were suppoused to be released by that period of time had no prediction at all of when they would be available. Of course, I canceled the pre-order and decided to order from Amazon, in which it rewarded in the end for the financial factor: the game got 20€ cheaper over there than if I was going to buy it in FNAC. Pre-orders of any Rayman game in Portugal, nevermore.
