I see. So last night when I couldn't sleep, I ended up hooking up one of my old motherboards, with a Texas Instruments 486 (Actual 386SX chip) CPU. Finally having gotten some more I/O controllers, I got to chuck the bad one that wouldn't detect a harddrive, nor be able to use a Floppy with success for one that works well. I plan to build a system out of it, in my pants.
