I finally got around to playing Borderlands, and I now I don't know why I haven't bothered sooner (actually, I do know the reason, and it was lack of money at the time of its release).

Uncharted.
You can through a lot of the game just by finding a piece of cover, popping up and shooting a couple of times then hiding again.
Then suddenly they change everything by throwing in these mutant things which run at you and tear you to shreds...
Good game though.

I played it because everyone (like 50 people) said I'd 100% like it. I think it's ...okay... not amazing. Maybe for a console game.... :P

I'm currently playing the latest Prince of Persia game, the Forgotten Sands, and... it's bad to say the least. I'm just playing it because some parts remind me of the old trilogy, which I really enjoyed. After this I'll probably play Mass Effect, Fallout 3, or maybe I'll go back to Oblivion again.
Oh yes and I'm also replaying R3, but this time on Gamecube ( Dolphin ) for reasons quite obvious if you've read the 2D Nightmare topic.

Haha, I agree with that! I've spent more than 150 hours on it so far and I still haven't done the main quest :P
The next one's coming out on 11/11/11 and I'm certainly looking forward to it. ;)
Have you played the third Elder Scrolls, Morrowind yet btw? That's also pretty awesome if you ask me.

I'm playing Epic Mickey right now. It's really, really quite good, with well designed (if slightly repetitive) platforming, rather charming characters and a surprising amount of freedom. Mickey's moves are basically Galaxy rip offs, though, and the controls feel like a much improved Mario. Can't really say that's a bad thing. The paint/thinner mechanic has been integrated brilliantly, so it doesn't feel like a "OOH we're so inventive! :fou: " gimmick.
My issue is the fucking camera. GOD - I even have trouble fighting against mooks because of the weird angles I'm suddenly presented with, not to mention the jumps. No camera has bugged me so much that I've tried to eat the nunchuk. :tssk:

I've only ever heard great things about Morrowind. Last time I checked, it was going for a fiver in the bargain bin...

I've read a review of it. It actually talks about the camera problems.

I usually don't trust a lot in Disney's video games.
