< is still struggling with the fucking Spanish exam. This was the absolutely worst case scenario, even worse than if I'd gotten physics. Then < would have to read and memorize a 300 page book over the weekend. < would gladly take that over Spanish.

No. All 2nd graders have to have take one exam in the spring, either written or oral. The draw is done at random (although I suspect it isn't random at all), and I got Spanish oral exam. The system is a bitch.

The school system in Norway must be different to the system in the UK.
