You can run faster if you don't strafe which makes it easier to avoid projectiles. Only difference is you have to manually target the machine.

Yeah, I know that, I mean, come to think of it, both that method and Haruka's has its own advantage and disadvantage. Your method's advantage is what you said about making it easier to avoid projectiles, and the disadvantage is that you have to manually target the machine which can be a lot harder then using the strafing method. Haruka's method has the advantage of making it easier for you to shoot while strafing, but the disadvantage is that it's harder to avoid projectiles coming towards you, but I still think the strafing method Haruka uses is easier because manually doing it, you have to change your direction to face toward the boss, which requires you to press down certain keys and everything and that can get confusing so I do recommend the other method since you don't have to worry about confusing yourself with the controls since you don't have to press that many keys down.

I think it's a thing of preference again here, I just prefer running around until I have to fight the enemies that spawn, especially the Hoodstormers.

Well, I was definitely damaging my hand by holding down Ctrl during that battle, back in the old days. I could feel the strain.

I also remember those days
I have a different keyset now though and I have strafe on my shift key on the left side.
I use the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, X to shoot and C to roll.
D is for grimace and E is look mode so everything is in the same spot which makes it easier for my left hand to reach everything when doing combos.

I played some Splinter Cell the last couple of days using a mouse and keyboard for a change.

- The 8 digital directions thing is annoying.
+ The mouse is so good for aiming while shooting that I think it makes up for the 8 direction thing in a way.

+ I've started watching some of the older cartoons/TV shows that i watched in the past once again. I've started on Bill Nye and The Magic School Bus.
- Though the constant ads get annoying. Gone are the days where videos were ad-free....

+ Replaying Portal 2 for nostalgia's sake because it is a masterpiece imo. The backstory and the secrets for example make you think and can make for great theories. Also, it's really fun.

- I haven't gotten paid by mom or aunt today, so I'm still broke.
+ So far I've finished 2 seasons of the Magic School Bus and 3 episodes of Bill Nye.

+++ Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0, coming back from 3-0 down in aggregate and now they're in the final.

+ Now I own both Portal's and Portal 2's original version from the Portal bundle on Steam.
- It says it's installing them and I waited for a while and there was no blue vertical bars like Steam's way of indicating progress.
+ Hopefully I'll be able to fix it today so I can play either Portal or Portal 2.
+ I still have high hopes because I've never played Portal 1 before and don't know anything about it and want to replay Portal 2 also for some nostalgia since it's a deadly game. It's truly a masterpiece.

+ Went to my grandmothers today and talked to my cousin and uncle for a few hours to catch up.
+ I might be going on a little holiday soon.
