At my school Biology I [1] was a requirement (unless you took General Biology which was just slower-paced) and you had to dissect cats--the whole school would then smell of it for some time...

Where would you get a cat to dissect?

Eek! That's gross. The only I had to dissect was the head of some random fish and my partner did all the work ^-^

Do your schools keep little dead animals in jars and show them to you? They did in mine and I thought it was cool as long as they died naturally ie NOT CUT UP.
