-/+ Had internet issues for the remainder of the day. It's back online, but still laggy.
+ Had a great day out in town whilst technical maintenance was done.
+ Today is the birthday of one of my favorite Rayman characters. (Somebody told me this)
+ It's been a great day so far.

I would basically be drunk all day if I did that.

I'm pretty sure I'd be pretty wasted if I drank this much, even having a few too many beers is a nightmare in my case.

+ I installed a WiFi card in my PC tonight, removing my dependency on an unreliable congested power-line connection.
– I had forgotten that my motherboard makes certain PCIe slots mutually exclusive, so my secondary graphics card (for my Windows VM) had to go. But then, that hadn't been working right since I put in this motherboard two years ago anyway.
+ Maybe this will push me to buy a brand-new motherboard and processor, so I can get 15-second compile times on big packages like ^

I use Ethernet directly to the router at this stage, though it would still be nice to have the Wi-Fi card. I do have one somewhere, but at this stage I should probably get a Wi-Fi 6 one anyway.

Firefox takes about 18 minutes it turns out, I think the likes of Qt and GCC are the worst for it. I did notice that both of those take way longer on Gentoo (probably about 40 minutes for the likes of QtWebEngine) than they do on LFS despite Gentoo being based on LFS, but then again, it's probably certain USE flags which I wouldn't have bothered with on LFS since I didn't need them.

- Disappointed to find that the cloning glitch I wanted to try out needs to have at least one box that has never been filled (which I don’t have).

- I showed up at the grand opening of the first Vancouver bitcoin machine in 2013 and thought I put in 50 bucks. I forgot all about that account until last year, and I apparently only put in 5 cents I made like 45 dollars

+ My temperamental laptop is starting to function normally again without constantly crashing. Probably need to spend part of today transferring things to storage just in case though.
+/- I’m up to section 3 in the updated class so I’m learning HTML for the third time.
