- Felt sad thinking about the jobs AI will (and continue to) take away. I remember that when I was a kid I was really excited about the future and the technological advancements, but now my perspective leans more towards the negative side.

That's not a very Schumpeterian state of mind! Jobs have disappeared throughout history yet I'm sure we can all agree that we're much better off living today than at the dusk of the last ice age. While we must do our best to smoothen the transition, resisting technical progress is an act of foolishness.

Yeah, I guess I'm worried about the transition period and how fast society will able to adapt. I'm still not a big fan of the idea of merging with AI, even though Elon Musk said that we are already cyborgs (since our smartphones are considered a part of us), I don't like the idea of Neuralink implants. But don't get me wrong, if these technologies can help people improve their lives, that would be amazing, it's just that it is not something that I would like to do to myself (however I guess my opinion would change depending on what this technology is able to do in the future).

Also, there are those unexpected effects that come with technological advancements (for example the effects of social media on teens) which we're still dealing with. However if the overall picture means a better society, accepting change is the way to go, we just have to be really careful (sometimes I feel that humans are infants with toys that become increasingly more powerful at a rate that is higher than its ability to mature as a species).

+ My final grade for my Databases class has come out as an A. I worked hard though to make sure things went well this time, as the past couple times I attempted to learn I pretty much failed.
+/- Still have 2 classes to go for the summer, so I still got some work to do after today's over.

- Stayed up till 3 cause I had a writing itch. Wrote a paragraph, got distracted and looked at memes.

- Woke up to older bro stopping by with his wife and two kids. Kids with grubby hands who wanted to mess up my entire room. I got peeved about it and the guardians I live with gave me crap for it because his kids were such angels. I stood my ground but I'm the bad guy of course. Ugh...

+ Decided to post stuff on the RMPC! I've been dormant for a while but I'm trying to beat the snot out of my massive "I'm the best at Rayman" ego and open up a little. I totally didn't come back because it's the post record day... I'm having fun posting lots of stuff!

- I'm currently trying to get myself on a reasonable schedule. Woke up to my alarm but didn't get enough sleep so I went back to bed and accidently overslept.

- It's 107 outside, but it's too cold inside my house. So I have to occasionally slip outside to warm up in my backyard...Only for it to be too hot so I have to go back inside and freeze my rear off. Rinse and repeat till it cools off outside.

+ My blankets will be out of the dryer soon, nice and warm!

+ Got insurance after several years of not having any whatsoever.

+/- Summer term is ending in a few days! But I still have a lot of homework (mainly discussion boards, ironic) to catch up on.
+/- I feel like I am gaining a habit with Rayman Arena like I have with past Mario Kart games, where I will just pull it up on my emulator and just play it for the fun of it even after I have finished the game.
+ I finally have started introducing a walk into my usual routine. I do have a weight goal in my mind, and with the amount of people going to the park decreasing to a noticeable degree, I feel more comfortable walking in the park again.

Are you saying you have to look up help from discussion boards or the project involves discussion boards?
