I haven't heard of it, but I found out that the anime adaptation was made by Bones, so I might check it out eventually.

In my case, I was lucky there was a small garage a couple minutes' walk from my place! The Jonster wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 7:43 pm Oogh, I'd hate to have a dead car battery. Last time that happened to me I had to get a new one from Wal Mart and throw away half of the day!![]()
Yeah, macOS has reverse scrolling by default and it takes getting used to. I adapted to it pretty quickly tho.The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 3:51 pm - Apparently, I need to work more about Macs. Was struggling to scroll down on a window yesterday in an app when helping dad with filing his taxes.
For me, the Internet Archive is the best place to find the education games I'm looking for. Speaking of those, I did find one of the two I was looking for yesterday after extensively combing through the site for the past couple of weeks. Just leaves one to go, but none of the isos that are there really worked in Virtualbox, so, might have to get my own copy and then rip the contents (which I never done, but would be up for it).PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:27 pm The ones you want most are the ones you played most when you were younger, so they were out so often that they never got put back in the right place, and so got lost! It's happened to me often enough, which is why I love GOG and Steam so much!
I think that depends on what OS you are going to use on it and how much memory you're willing to put into it. I went with standards for the Windows XP that I'm currently using and it's working fine for me.DaveRattlehead wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 10:31 pm That reminded me of something that happened to me about 4 months ago. I got an external CD player as a gift and when I went to play older games I remembered that Windows 10 no longer has the drivers needed to play them properly. Not the first time I hear about the VirtualBox. Are the system requirements very demandant?
Glad you found it!The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pm For me, the Internet Archive is the best place to find the education games I'm looking for. Yeah, VirtualBox shouldn't be as demanding as an emulator (like Dosbox or any console emulator) because it doesn't do any CPU emulation, it just sets up a virtualized environment on the real CPU.The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pmI think that depends on what OS you are going to use on it and how much memory you're willing to put into it. Did you reboot after a long period of not doing so? I think Windows Update can accumulate a lot of stuff in the Temp folder if you don't reboot…The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pm+ Interestingly enough, on that note, I checked my C drive today and discovered I now have 20GB of memory left, which I find weird since previously I have only had 1-2 GB left, not sure what caused that jump but lols.

Not sure what would be doing that… What kinds of files? The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pm- Lately my File Explorer seems to crash when I attempt to right click certain files on my computer. Still trying to figure out what is causing this.
It's mainly some of the isos I just downloaded. And it continuously does that every time I right click. Only trying to rename the file but this could be a problem later on if I wanted to, let's say copy it. But then, there's probably a shortcut for that too so I can just bypass the clicking.PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:16 pmNot sure what would be doing that… What kinds of files? The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pm- Lately my File Explorer seems to crash when I attempt to right click certain files on my computer. Actually I've been doing a lot of restarting lately due to my laptop having little RAM leftover and having to work around the issue.PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:16 pmDid you reboot after a long period of not doing so? Yup! But man, when's the last time I've seen them around? And now that I think about it, R4Y too? Those were good times hehehe. Even if much of those memories were me practically shitposting.....PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:16 pmBirds858?The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 3:14 pm+ Also curious as to who wrote that bottom line, reminds me of someone hehe.![]()
I guess they're big files. Is there some shell extension you've installed that might be trying to do some expensive operation on them before giving its input to the context menu? The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:46 pm It's mainly some of the isos I just downloaded. You're sure there's nothing missing then? The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:46 pm Actually I've been doing a lot of restarting lately due to my laptop having little RAM leftover and having to work around the issue.
I usually get a little back, but not 18 GB!
Birds hasn't been here since 2018 I'd say, then R4Y was like 2020? 2021 maybe? I don't know, I hope they're in a better frame of mind now than then…The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:46 pm Yup! Thanks for the shortcuts! Actually the files only range between 80-600 MB. Curiously, this issue doesn't happen when I open the files from another application. Hmmm......PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 11:02 pmI guess they're big files. By the way, F2 is rename, and Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V are copy / paste!![]()
No, unless I've deleted files in between restarts, which I have, but even then they were pretty small (the memory is down to 6 GB from my last reboot as of this writing)PluMGMK wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 11:02 pmYou're sure there's nothing missing then? The Jonster wrote: Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:46 pm Actually I've been doing a lot of restarting lately due to my laptop having little RAM leftover and having to work around the issue.
