I'm a bit late, but sorry to hear about your cat. My condolences. Losing family pets is never easy, especially when they have been part of the family for years. It has happened to us with dogs many times too unfortunately. We have even had to put one to sleep a couple years back because he couldn't even breathe properly anymore.

Sorry to hear about your back and your friend. It sucks when friends you cut off (went through this a lot in high school).

+/- Been trying to get out of the lethargic state I've been in for years now and so far I'm adjusting to put more concentration on planning for the rest of my future rather than goofing off and doing my favorite pastime things but that progress has been really slow. Need to find that balance between work and play, you know?
+ My sleep schedule, has once again become more normalized. I hope it stays that way, since I'm starting to enjoy waking up at 8 now.
+ Going to think of another project to work on the following week since my VB quest was a success for the most part.

+ Weather has become warmer and that makes me feel way better.
+/- Cameramen are coming to where we work on Tuesday. They plan to record us and some stuff in the laboratory and put some of the images on the TV.
- Meetings deciding what to do to make the images attractive for the TV were horrible. Also, we had to do an exhausting and heavy cleaning on Friday afternoon.

I don't know if they will upload the footage on YouTube, but I'm very sure they'll upload it on their webpage. It seems that TV program has been running for 30 years (kinda weird we've never heard of it lmao) and it focuses on divulgation and general knowledge. To be honest, I have no idea if my face will appear on TV . They explained us on Friday that we will only appear for 90 seconds, and maybe not all the scenes will be shown. Also, most of the things are going to be recorded in the fume hood, so it's more likely to see my hands/arms rather than my face. It's all up to the position where they'll record the footage

I guess you've already had to sign the release forms?

I signed the release forms at the same time I signed my contract, so I guess I'm not supposed to sign anything else. I was already told about the possibility of us being recorded/photographed from time to time, so I had to sign that at the very first to make things easier.

- Holidays are over.
+ I'm still abroad and only have four days of remote work before another week of holidays.

Thanks, and yeah it has happened to me throughout my teens too. I reflected a few times to see if I was the problem but ultimately it was usually caused by someone being toxic out of envy for something, such as one relating to how two guys were friends, and then when I joined their friend circle, one of them got jealous and wanted to cut the other friend out and have me to themselves. Very weird scenario...

One recent "friend" proved they were a bad friend after all by the things they did, and showed they have no boundaries when they even badmouthed my partner for no reason. I even tried to give them a chance after this, and they tried to gaslight me instead of realising they were lucky to have that chance; they thought they were teaching me something about loyalty (hypocrisy)?

I will never talk to them again and they won't be missed. It's for the best for my own well being in the long run anyway to not be around people like this.

+ Slept at a reasonable time last night and still got up pretty early.
+ Feeling like I'm in a much better mindset. I will be leaving bad things in the past, and just moving forward to a brighter future.

+ Last week, while I was walking outside, a cat (without a collar) randomly appeared next to me and looked like it wanted to play, I slowly got closer and surprisingly, the cat let me pet it. It was extremely unusal, none of the cats of the neighbourhood had let me get that close, let alone pet them.
+ Two days later I found the same cat again under a car, I made some pspsps sounds and it came out and let me pet it again, after some minutes it left.
+ Another day, I bought a small bag of treats for cats and gave it some the next time I saw it.

The cat doesn't have any collar, so I assume it doesn't have an owner, but it is strange that it is that friendly.

+ Went on a walk today in the park with my partner.
- IT courses have so many acronyms and things to remember.

+/- Starting to get into a better scheduling habit regarding my daily life. Now if only I could keep it up consistently...
- Almost everytime I go out for a walk lately, it starts raining. Am I cursed or something???

+ I got a chihuahua

+ I guess the pets topic could be revived now.
