They're both not very good, but at least the PAL bg is somewhat unique.

I’d say the pal as the green kinda represents the game’s forest-y feel

Not a big fan of these box arts, but I agree the PAL one is better. The red box art is just... Empty? At least the green one has the spiderwebs and a bit of decoration

I mean in the NTSC box it kinda looks like the R1 box art with the crack in the wall

I will go with neither, they both look pretty bad to me.

In their defence, they’re better than most GBC box arts

I don't think any of them were specially good, but hey, at least I learnt how to differenciate them
Yesterday, both Sony and the official Little Big Planet account announced the server shutdown of LBP 3 on PS4. Being the only online servers remaining, this shutdown brings the Little Big Planet era to an end. Little Big Planet was one of the most interesting and innovative IPs PlayStation has ever owned, giving the players a great opportunity to let the imagination shine with their creations. As these are recent news, I think it's a good opportunity to make a poll about this game (specifically, the first one). So... Which one of these LBP 1 box arts looks the best for you? Have you played Little Big Planet in the past? Tell us about it!

PAL just captures the feel of the game for me. I’ve never played the game but I’m tempted to get LBP 3 as its free on PS Plus

NTSC-U and NTSC-J aren't bad imo, but PAL is very cool and it's the one I've always seen. LBP bring me a lot of memories, I spent many hours there and it was a very fun game, specially when you play with people. I strongly believe the game was purely designed to be played together with other people, and it's the way you could have more fun. Sure, you can still have fun with it playing alone, but I'd highly recommend inviting some friends at home if you truly want to live the real LBP experience

LBP was peak back in the day, got a lot of memories with the first two. Playing thru the user levels together with folks was always a blast.
Alas, very recently the servers are now down, so it feels like the very raison d'être for the games is gone, I dunno if the multiplayer is still up, but all those levels...
It's quite sad to think, especially considering how artistically and well-made some of them were, to no longer be regularly accessible, some dating back around 15 years - it's a tragic loss.

Absolutely right. The strength of LittleBigPlanet was playing and creating with your friends. Now that you can't play online anymore, the game just isn't the same... Yes, sure, you can play offline, but it's not the same (and I doubt the game was made to be played that way). Worst of all is the way in which they have been closed... Are the servers having problems? Yes... Fix it? No way, shut them down and kill 16 years of community creations. It's sad to see a game I've put so much time into ending up like this, but well, that's just the way things are and companies don't have the same consideration as fans.
The community has created private servers where you can play online, either with a HFW on PS3 or with an emulator. They've also been able to recover a lot of levels, but I'm not sure if it's all been recovered (I highly doubt it).

I've seen the poll ended some days ago! Any suggestion for the next one?

Are you willing to do the rayman gold one Dave? I’ve just been thinking about it because it’s been 4+ months since the last one

I'll keep that in mind! Personally, I think you will all like more this one, as it's way better than those from Rayman Gold
Btw, here you have the results from the last poll:
The next one is about Bomberman! I think we've all played this great game. Here you have a couple of boxarts from America and Europe. Which one do you prefer?
PAL:
NTSCU:

I wonder if it’s the box without the 3D model
Personally, I think the NTSCU box art is a bit gross, but I really like the art work on the PAL box, so that’s my pick

I have always liked 2D drawing more than 3D drawing, and this case isn't going to be an exception. The NTSCU version looks really weird to me, besides the PAL version looks more faithful to the designs that were made in Japan.
Bomberman was a lot of fun... Even its weird PlayStation Home version was fun

I don’t get why all NTSC-U releases seem to be obsessed with 3D models, I assume that’s just what people were obsessed with at the time and they wanted to capitalise off of it?

So, the three of us voted for the PAL version
Hopefully this poll will get more participation. This game is a bit more popular, so let's see... Which
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction box art do you like the most: PAL or NTSC-U?
