Question 29 : Why the Ice Climbers were cut during the developement of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS ?

I think it was because they couldn't get the Ice Climbers to render/work correctly or whatever in 3DS, and since they wanted the same roster of characters, they were cut from the Wii U version also.

How one can climb mountains with a wooden mallet has always given me something to think about.
