At least you Dutchies had few Rayman games in your native language, while for me not really. Rayman Origins and Rayman Maternelle do not count, those are Portuguese of Brazil.

Why do the censors always ruin the fun here in America? Why do all the cool, far away countries get to have all the risky references they want?! Man, we suck!

Weird indeed.
I'm playing through Rayman 3 HD and I haven't noticed any adult themes other than the "great big eyes" line and "pervert!". Were they cut out of the HD version? Or am I just being forgetful/unobservant?
Also, perhaps not really an adult theme per se, but when you free one of the Teensies, he says he has to go and "drop the kids off at the pool", which is a euphemism for taking a shit.

The PC version of Rayman 3 was not even commercialized in Portugal, I remind I imported my copy from the USA. But I think that was the fault of ECOGAMES (Ecofilmes' previous name in the department of gaming distribution) because the game for other consoles existed.

Still suprised to this day that Rayman 3 passed as E rated game considering games like Voodoo Vince, ToeJam and Earl 3, Psychonauts, Oddworld Munch's Oddysee, Oddworld Strangers Wrath, and others got rating T for Teen.

It does not surprise me that the 3D games of Oddworld got rated as Teen in the NA, and PEGI 12 in Europe.
Munch's Oddysee - When you stop possessing a Slig/Slig Bro/Vykker, it goes into flesh pieces with a squirt of blood. The same thing happens if you put any character into a Recycler. The bad ending of the game isn't also necessairly for kids/small kids either.
Stranger's Wrath - There's obscene language/swearing in the game, the source being the quotes of the Outlaws.

Well, you do have a point, but other games I mentioned in previous post had no blood or swearing at all and they still got Teen rating. Ratchet and Clank got Teen rating by ESRB but PEGI rated it 3+

Wierd, my R&C1 for PS2 is rated PEGI 7.
But I remember to listen Ratchet saying "Look, a plumber's crack!". Maybe this slangish expression isn't taken badly by PEGI? Or perhaps they didn't notice it.
