Ech, it's interesting to see that I hit more right leaning than the much of the other folks here. I think that may be because I hate government intervention except when it's necessary, and only when it's for the benefit of the people.

Same general area, and it sums my political opinions up really well.

Funny, I think this applies way more to the other test. The questions in the original Political Compass are all about ideas, not policies, which is important as you can, say, agree that multinational companies cannot be trusted to protect the environment by themselves and therefore need to be regulated, but completely disagree on the way they are being regulated by most governments. I'll have to take the test again as I lost my results but I ended up in a completely different location from that of the other test.

I meant "vague" in a purely grammatical sense. The only one I can remember off-hand was something relating to "equality", but it not really being clear as to what that meant. Equality of opportunity or equality of outcome?

I agree with that, I think some of the questions in the other test were completely independant of the political sphere, ie: Is abstract art a true art form?
