Took them long enough. I've been playing R2 on my PSP thanks to popstation and custom firmware for over two years now!

One thing occurred to me - if this stays using oslib for the base, it makes it portable. Oslib currently works for the PSP and Windows, but it could be ported to other platforms as well.

Nope, unfortunately there isn't. 3D graphics do also require much much more work in this case.

Equilibrium, please upload it to Mediafire or Megaupload, they're both great for uploading these things, because only premium members can download your files at your current link.

Equilibrium369 wrote:I followed your tutorial on Mercurial but am finding the program confusing, bloated and hard to work with, maybe I'll figure it out later.
At least it's easy for me. And it should be slightly less bloated on Linux. But I can switch to Subversion (SVN) instead, if you want?

Subversion would probably be better for some folks. It's used more, so I think more people have learned how to use it. Git and Hg aren't very mainstream, so most folks never bother to learn either.

Well, Git looks pretty mainstream to me. But you're absolutely right about Hg. I'll switch it then.

Okay, I have now switched to Subversion.

1. Download and install TortoiseSVN.
2. Create a directory named "rayman-psp" somewhere.
3. Rightclick the directory, and select "SVN Checkout"
4. When prompted, write this in the URL field:

Code: Select all

https://rayman-psp.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
5. To update repository, rightclick and select "SVN Commit"
6. Mark all of the files that have been updated.
7. Use your Google Code username and Google Code password.

I have had a complete moment of clarity.

I shall no longer continue creating this game for reasons I cannot fully explain.

My attempts to create this game have been nothing greater than pathetic. I should be more original and not try to copy other people's ideas.

I am forever in debt to those who have given support over the lifetime of this thread. I am truly sorry for wasting your time.

It would be highly appreciated if a mod or admin could please delete this thread. It is like a needle in my mind while it still exists.

Thank you and goodbye.
