I'm beginning to wonder why video game characters do scare some people. Looking back at my comment about Begoniax, I feel a bit of a douche.

As I've said before, I consider the Nihilanth from Half-Life 1 to be the scariest videogame character ever.

I thought Zant from Zelda: Twilight Princess was really scary until I had to fight him. Then he freaked completely out in the cutscene before the fight, and threw a fit, and just wasn't so scary anymore. It was sort of anticlimatic and disappointing in that sense.
Another character from another game that I haven't even played and don't think I'll dare touch without someone holding my hand is that guy in the diving suit thingy from Bioshock. :U

I think the Little Sisters are scarier than the Big Daddies. A Big Daddy will be starring in Bioshock 2.
