Rayman Pirate-Community

"Oh well, I've still got some time to kill here." said Clunk, as he sat back down. A second hand shot out of the arm which was supposed to be his blaster, and he used it to secure the dangling hook in place. "Anything else you want to talk about?"

Maroney sat back down on Delilah's bed and thought to himself for a moment.
"Does it rain ink in Picture City?" Maroney said. "'Cause that would be like, totally awesome, but at the same time it would suck. Everything would get slippery and... Inky."

Clunk was confused. "P-Picture City?" Clunk pulled a piece of paper out of his jacket and opens it up to reveal a map. He closely examined it but to no avail did he find this place anywhere on the map. "Oh no, uncharted territory! That's bad. We'll have to collect some data on it now, do you know if any of those pink things reside there? Hell, we'd even settle for the little anti guy things."

Back somewhere in the forest, Elite picked up the cage full of trapped Electoons and gave it to the working pirate. "Hold this while I fetch myself another helping hand.", he said. He then pulled a body out of the pile of deactivated pirates. He put his hand close to his chest. Slowly some energy came out of his chest and swirled into a ball in his hand. With great force, he pushed his hand towards the deactivated Henchman's chest. Suddenly the Henchman sprang back into life, and immediately saluted his superior. "What are your wishes, Admiral?"
"Pick up those body parts and follow me, I know one of the best mechanics there is and he just so happens to owe me a favour." Elite raised his hand to the sky and put the other behind his back. "Come you two." He started his way through the forest.
"Aye aye Capt'n!" Said both, one carrying the cage on his hook and the other carrying the remains of the other pirates, and then began following the aged Admiral down the same path.

Maroney shrugged casually, almost numbed by the awkward and chaotic events of the day to the point of not noticing them anymore.
"Uhhh, I dunno, it's been like, aaaages since I've actually been to Picture City." He explained. "All I really remember is pencils, erasers, and wondering if it rains ink there."

Meanwhile, Sideways regained the ability to feel and move his hands and feet and pulled himself off the ground. He wiped the dirt off his checkered coat as he backed away from the store, expecting the antitoon to come out after him at any moment.

"Oh..." Clunk sighed. "Ah well, I'll inform the Capt'n when he gets back, and then we'll have another adventure on our hands!" He put the map back into his jacket and then the robot hand he had summoned before shot back into his arm. "I wonder what he's up to at the moment, anyway?"

"Uh, don't you think that passing through a town is a bad idea Capt'n?" Asked the cage carrying Henchman. "I mean, I am carrying a cage full of Electoons, and the Glade inhabitants despise the pirates anyway."
"Oh don't worry my lad, they won't want to attack us if one of them does." Just as Elite says that, a villager comes charging forward to him. He aims his hand at the villager and a ball of energy comes out which disintegrates him into a pile of dust on the floor. "Oh, there we go!" He exclaimed with a sinister yet joyous tone. "Right, now we need to take a left just about... Here." He takes a left into the woods again and the other two pirates follow. Later on their way they passed Sideways ((Though they obviously don't know who he is, that's just a note for Dragon. )) standing up and looking at the building behind him which had a broken glass window, and on closer inspection an Antitoon could clearly be seen in there too. "So that's where the blasted bugger went... Oh, afternoon good sir." Elite waved and moved on, and the two pirates did the same. "Should be just a little bit on from here..."

Maroney just nodded in response. He wished he hadn't mentioned Picture City, because now the pirates were going to invade it, but he didn't say anything. He felt quite guilty knowing what could happen. Maroney then shifted his attention to the gaping hole in the wall. He didn't have the money to fix it, but perhaps hanging some blankets over it would do until he did. Still, it would be difficult to explain to Delilah when she returned.

Sideways turned his attention loosely to Elite and the two robot pirates as they passed.
"Good afternoon." He said, lifting his hat a little then turning his attention back to the door. He stared blankly for a moment then jumped when he realised those were robot pirates! "Wait, wh-" Sideways stuttered, turning back around to find that they were gone.

"And here we are." Elite stopped and pointed towards a log cabin on top of a hill.
"B-But Capt'n-"
"We'll be fine 302, just make sure the others don't push us off a cliff this time." Elite made his way to the top of the hill and knocked on the door.

So Faithman had ran away from the house mysteriously and nobody had been able to see him ever since. People say they see a limbless figure in some places swimming in the ocean.

Sideways wasn't sure what to do anymore. He could go back in the store and be stuck in a small space with an antitoon, or he could stay in the big, wide outdoors where pirates could be hiding anywhere. The old man turned his head and looked up at the roof. Perhaps it was safe up there.

What nobody noticed was that Faithman was standing steadily on top of the roof of Sideways' house, doing...nothing.
He was just standing there.

Sideways began slowly and steadily climbing onto the roof with shaky steps, using old crates stacked against the wall as steps. He managed to wearily pull himself up onto the roof, shielding his eyes from the sun as he slowly looked up.
"GYAHHH!!" Sideways yelled Jumping and flailing at the sight of Faithman on his roof, so much so that he fell back off the roof and onto the ground with a loud thud. He could have sworn the Rayman look-a-like had left with Maroney quite some time ago!

Faithman was still standing, not moving at all, even from the sound of the thud. He stood there........as if he were a statue...

Aah, what the hey, seeing as this role-play has been dying for months I might as well make my best attempt to join in, as I've been tempted to for some time:

Name: Skye
Species: Raymanian/Rayman's species
Special abilities: Is skilled at multiple musical instruments, but has never been involved in combat
Appearance:

Back story: A young child from Band Land, and while being tutored in Picture City has opened up his creative mind in other ways, music is his passion. Usually very optimistic and playful, he's always willing to give his friends a hand.

Seeing as RaymanarenaPS2 isn't active anymore, I can't have my character properly accepted, but I'll wait for a responce from anyone just so I'm not butting in .

Sideways was on the ground, twitching a little from the impact of the fall.
"Ow... My back..." He moaned as he pulled himself back up onto his feet, trying to comprehend what just happened. "What the heck...."
Sideways stepped back a bit as he suddenly remembered why he fell. Faithman was on his roof! At this point the old man considered that maybe, just maybe, he was starting to go insane. Or maybe he had been insane for a long time and was only just realising it.

Skye sensed that there was something wrong since he had first woke up that morning, and that it was something big. The 'whole world being taken over by bad guys and the day needs to be saved' kind of big. Now, when Skye gets worried, the first thing he does is go for a walk to clear his head and relax, and it just so happened that while mindlessly strolling he had wound up right outside of Sideway's shop. He stopped at the most unusual sight of what appeared to be his good friend Rayman standing upon the roof.
"Rayman! Hey Rayman! Whatcha' doing up there?"
No response.
Before he could comprehend what was going on, he noticed something else. For the first time since he had arrived, he had spotted a dazed looking old man standing at the shop's front rubbing his head.
"Excuse me, are you okay?"

Sideways flinched a little at the sudden sound of the child's voice.
"I, uhm, well, sort of!" Sideways replied, a little shaky. "You see, there's an antitoon in my store, and that man on my roof.... I swear he had gone somewhere else when I left him...."
Sideways gazed up at Faithman, who was still standing as still as a statue on his roof. Why on earth was he doing that? Sideways had no idea.
"D-do you see him too, or am I going insane?"

Skye looked back up to the roof.
"No...I seem him too" he replied, while slowing waving in the direction of Faithman, a little disconcerted. While earlier he was so sure that he had seen his friend Rayman, now he was not so sure. Something was not quite right. Skye's mind was cast back to the time Mr. Dark made an attempt to take over the world, and his ability to make evil clones of Rayman. Then, something that Sideways had said earlier struck him again.
"Did you say an Antitoon?"

Sideways turned and looked at Skye with a nervous look and nodded slowly.
"It was definitely an antitoon..." He began to explain. "The little thing had been hanging around my store earlier today, and just when I thought it had left, it came back, smashed a window and walked right up to me! That's when I got really frightened and jumped out of the broken window. I think it's still in there but I don't know what it's doing..."

Faithman just stood there....
He still didn't move or speak.
