And outside of that, at least I still am able to communicate with some friends like you (Steo), Master, for example. So it's quite nice.

To be fair, we're also under a lot more constraints than we were back then. I'd argue that's probably for the best considering how spammy things got. Like the bonk thread comes to mind for example.

What can I say, the man eventually wants to retire, enjoy life, find a few wives to marry and have a dozen kids like the movie Cheaper by the Dozen. Can we take away that dream from him?
