Textures? Rayman 1 is a 2D game, it doesn't have textures!

Sprites are kind of like textures.

Actually, Ninjaws is in the other versions of Rayman 2, you fight him in the Prison Ship, and he gets his own remix of the boss theme!

But he is easy to beat. He's only there in the PC version, right? I think he's harder in the PS1 version, according to some people he probably is, but I don't know.

No, you also fight him there in the N64, DS, and Dreamcast versions.

Yeah I forgot the DS, which is an exact clone of the PC but with some beta sound and a lot worse graphics.
But the Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 versions are more different right? And only in the Playstation 1 version Ninjaws appears, in the Sanctuary with Umber (Rock and Fire, I believe, I always confuse those fire sanctuaries

)?
Why are there so many versions of so many Rayman games...Is Rayman 3 the same everywhere by the way (not counting to GBA version)?

All versions of Rayman 3 are the same (except the Gamecube version has more minigames)
Anyway, I thought the DS version was a direct port of the N64 one.

If the N64 is the same as the PC one (apart from that beta music), then it could be.

It is, the N64 coudn't handle the same quality music.

The N64 had poorer graphics actually because it was indeed a 64-bit cart whereas the Dreamcast was way above that. I played the DS version a few times before and I was just like... fff

The DS version a person has a big difficulty to control Rayman on diagonal-ways. I can play the game easier on the DS Lite instead of the original DS.

I just got 100% in Revolution and nothing happened. Am I supposed to do something? Or is it just that you're supposed to find every single 1000 lums just for... nothing?

Yes.

Doesn't your initials appear at the end of the credits under "the best player" or something like that if you get all the lums?
As far as I know only the PC version and PSX version actually give you a bonus for beating the game with all lums. The Menezis minigame on PC and the Rayman 2 2D test level on PSX.

What? How could I never know about that? I've got the PC version, and I've had (I deleted it) completed it 100%, with 1000 lums, all cages, and all levels. Is it because I skipped the credits or something?

I don't think you can access it if you skip the credits no. I remember discovering it, I was like WTH!? Shooting with letter makes no sense o_o

Menezis is definitely not dependent on getting 100%! I have played it several times without 1000 lums, or even close to it.

Nope, he also appears in the Prison Ship in the other versions (Except the PS2 version), here is a video of the fight with him:
