Well if you put it this England is pretty large in itself so I doubt the UK would lose out on anything serious, the most it would be is losing Scottish produce which could be solved if the UK Sets up a trade with Scotland (Which is pretty likely).

Independence is more of a pride thing than anything else, however leaving would mean that we can fully run our own country, we can have our own voice and we wouldn't have to put up with British PMs like David Cameron.

I see what you're saying, the idea of running our own country and having our own voice is definiely the attraction to independence. But still, I dunno...

It certianly wouldn't be a waste of time, nor would it be a disaster. There's no real reason for anyone to be against it, unless you really like being part of a union Scotland didn't want to be a part of in the first place.

Fair points. To be honest, I'm indifferent about it. If Scotland does become independant one day then cool, no objections here but as it stands, I am perfectly fine being part of the union despite putting up with bawbags like Cameron.

I have too much pride to say I like being part of the union. I read the history and it's horrible how Scotland was bribed to be part of this union. It's about time we got out of it, it's not like we'll suffer from leaving, we have the resources to look after ourselves, much smaller countries are able to do so.

Meh, I simply prefer this forum. I've tried out many, and they always end up being confusing or a bit boring.
