That only depends on how many Tings you have. You can keep the rank if you give Tings away. To clarify, there’s a certain amount of Tings for the rank you have now (which you can check on the rank list). Staying within that amount will maintain the Mawpaw rank you have now

That’s why I have the Joe rank and Steo has the Globox rank (even though we have lots of posts and from a normal standpoint should have more Tings than we actually do), for example

It feels really off to see Jonster not having a Murphy rank although I should’ve said that earlier, but yeah Mawpaw you can donate tings by going to somebody’s profile and giving them some, like I just did to dorklore

Thanks guys! I was considering donating them after what you said, but when I saw the Rank list and saw there was a Ly rank, I think I’ve set my sights a little bigger! Haha

I’m gonna try getting Ly now!

I would have considered donating Tings for you to get Ly, but when I checked the rank list, you need like 200,000 and I don't even have that much myself between this account and my alt.

Hehe. Well I could help you a little bit towards it still, but I unfortunately don't want the Ting police after my by stealing 200k tings (Rayman dollars).

Oh and for what it's worth, even just posting a few messages on Record Day will get you a lot. I think just literally submitting one message already earns you 1515 Tings if I'm not mistaken, and you get 15 per post instead of 5 for the duration.

There is an all-nigher bonus, but honestly I am never doing that again.

That's right! But I should point out that as you post you still just get 5 Tings, the rest are handed out later in a big bonus payment!

Oh my gosh I feel like I was born to pull an all-nighter for this. I love to pull them when I need to fix my sleeping schedule, and I just so happen to have royally messed mine up!

Oh yeah this is true, I forgot about that. The first time I participated I thought something was wrong that I was only getting 5 Tings.

I literally did it twice. I feel like at this point I would never be able to do it. Not only would I not have the energy and feel extremely awful, but Hoodoo would probably kill me.

Oh and yeah, I can probably get you about a quarter of the way there (like 50k) though without robbing the Ting bank.
