Thanks.Shrooblord wrote:Hey, come on, don't pick on the guy! He just made an honest mistake (and then kept on making it). Besides, judging by his spelling and grammar I believe he's not that old; give him a break.
Raymanarenaps2, you should visit the Rayman Artworks link on the top of this forum's index page. Then click on the Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark thread and look at it. It's a game made almost entirely by one person, who is a great fan of the Rayman games and wants to recreate the magic herself; but it isn't actually UbiSoft making the game and it's definately no remake. But you're right when you say it's way cool.

Re: Rayman 1
I agree completely, but it's the Aurorae that really sells the Blue Mountains, it makes the more realistic Blue Mountains seem more Unreal and fantastic.spiraldoor wrote:The Blue Mountains are great. Wonderfully tranquil and majestic, yet cold, remote, desolate and unforgiving. The aurora curtains in particular remain one of the most magnificent and inspired sights in the entire series.TeensieKing wrote:Am I the only one who dislikes Blue Mountains? I loved Band Land and Picture City so much but I don't like Blue Mountains.I prefer Pink Plant Woods...
(It’s at times like this that I lament the fact that RayWiki relies so heavily on screenshots from the PC version, which really doesn’t do the artwork justice.)
Re: Rayman 1
The music should have been different. I like it very much though.

I disagree, I believe the music complements the Blue Mountains dangerous edge.RayTunes wrote:The music should have been different. I like it very much though.

I also feature the aurora detail, which is fantastic.
I like every world in R1 but I have a personal favourite which are the Caves of Skops.

Yup, though they made some unnecessary modifications, including recolouring the silver slopes in Band Land to black, making the maximum health 10 bubbles and so on, it was released as DsiWare.that3Dguy wrote:dsi ? they made it for that?Raymanarenaps2 wrote:Does any one have rayman 1 on nintendo gameboy advance? or the nintendo dsi...?

Re: Rayman 1
Because there are two versions of this level you know, and this was the most obvious solution.

Ah, really? Hmm... I'd better see if I can get my PC version up and running as soon as I can so I can find out what I'm missing out on!Master4lyf1 wrote: Yup, though they made some unnecessary modifications, including recolouring the silver slopes in Band Land to black, making the maximum health 10 bubbles and so on, it was released as DsiWare.

There is no need to quote gigantic multi-layer pyramid posts that are filled with images and videos. Most quotes can and should be condensed to a few lines.

Re: Rayman 1
Master4lyf1, I meant I should start playing my PC version again since I just played the DSi version myself - I want to play the PC version to see what the differences are in the DSi version.
