Before vacation, I worked 7 days a week. :)
It is just a phase, my hint is, drink as many coffees as you can and listen some hard music like Prodigy, I think you will feel much better.

dartofthedavros wrote:Really been feeling in the dumps lately, and it totally sucks cause I know all the problems but lack the confidence to take care of them all. My first issue is going to school for 6 days a week, which is an unprecedented burden. After that is my super demanding job, where they constantly demand I work more hours and are refusing my vacation day (that I requested a month ago) unless I get a replacement worker for the shift. On top of those I'm having to deal with the drama of having divorced parents and a sudden return to my depression that's got my consistently doubting myself.

I don't know why I'm depressed, I really don't. I have a good education, a job, and a pretty chill Mom; and yet the anxiety I get from my Father, managers, and peers is weighing on me by a shit ton. On top of that I'm behind (my personal) schedule for college apps and feel stupid because of that too.

I just want this point of my life to be over and done with so that I can be productive again.

You sound like you need a good break! Don't feel like you shouldn't be depressed. Saying "I can't be sad because other people have it worse" is like saying "I can't be happy because other people have it better". Have you spoken to your mum about things? Also shouldn't it be the manager's job to find a replacement?

Thanks for the advice Acarr, I've been feeling a lot better just because I've been relaxing! As for my Ma, I try to communicate some of it to her, but I'd rather she not worry about it. As for my manager, yes it is her job to find a replacement; my former manager suggested I contact HR over it since she was not going to let me have off even for medical appointments.

Has anyone been trying out counselling or found something else that's been beneficial for them?

Also, I found out today that there is a letter D in fridge, but not in refrigerator. That's fucked me up, man.

I don't really have the time as it currently stands to see an actual therapist, but I do work out as many problems as I can with my School Counselor, Mother, & Friends. Lately I've been thinking about gender roles and how annoying they are, so I'm glad they're around whenever I need somebody to talk to.

I've never really thought about that, just another reason as to why English is so annoying I guess.

loud ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sounds

i extend my sympathy to everyone else first off because you all sound like you're having a bad time. :<

ehh idk today just hasn't been great

1. my mom's boss has totally overwritten her request for an off day and scheduled a meeting. my mom had a doctor's appointment to see if she could eat proper food again after her surgery and now she has to wait til the 17th :<
2. i found my diary from when i was 12* and have realised that i am a completely obnoxious/irritating/terrible person to be around
3. my adhd makes things very difficult ie that's why i keep jumping (and obsessively clinging to) fandoms
4. which is what's happening with undertale despite the fact that i am royally stuck on this boss battle. fuck your spider cakes, lady. fuck you, your pet, your spider cakes, and your dumb bloomers
5. also my braces are playing up and today is terrible

I see no serious issue here, nothing too severe. :P
I could fill that page with the shit that is in my head, but I won't, since I'm a slacker, and I don't want to spook anyone.

Lel, you are stuck at muffet? you should've donated some money to the spiders in the beginning.

I'm really, really sorry to hear all that. :(

Sadly these things tend to happen, and not everyone will be able to understand whats going on. My only advice would be to keep moving forward, but also take as much time as you need to relax or grieve. :hap:

I really struggle to be able to talk to people about problems that have happened to me because I feel like they wouldn't understand or there's no point because talking to people isn't going to change anything. However, we're social creatures and it's healthy to talk to others. Confine in people you can trust, otherwise you could always talk on here or keep a journal of sorts. Talking can help clear your head and even help learn about yourself and others. ;)

I know what it's like to get out of touch with friends when people have moved away. It sucks because you're missing out on their life, but it's just one of these things that happens, and more and more people leave when you get older because we all carry on with our lives in the direction we want to go in. But you'll travel too to new places, meet new people. But remember there's still social media, skype etc. and you can always organise to visit each other. How big's the time zone difference?

ok so i'm really not good with words but i'm sorry you feel that way, keane! unu i understand a lot of what you're talking about and it's really shitty when people compltely misinterpret/override your problems!! they think they're helping and they're not and then it sucks because you're not getting any support and they act like the job is done

in other personal news my laptop died while in the middle of fighting metaton and now my copy of undertale has reset itself somehow. my save file is just gONE and now i have to do all of that again and i'm ,,, really not very happy
