Here's what the rules say about Special Ranks:

However, an additional prize is awarded to players who successfully host a season: a custom avatar to wear for a month. 'Successfully' is the operative word here, though, as is defined by complying with the following hosting rules: […]

But the phrase in that sentence is "custom avatar", which isn't easily searchable, and just generally inconsistent terminology. I'll fix that now, thanks for bringing it to my attention…
