No, but technically, Quickfish didn't say exactly what the Pirate called Rayman, and though you quoted the Pirate correctly, you didn't actually state the answer.

They're sink in Rayman 3, you can kick them in Rayman 3 and you can throw them to air in Rayman 2

Okey: In Rayman 2, the plums floats on water and lava (only on special sorts of water and lava). You can trow up the in the air, then shoot and get the plum back if you stay at the same place. You can stay at the plum when it is on the ground and it never stops bouncing.
In Rayman 3, the plum sinks when you put them in water. You can also kick the plum and when you carry it you can put the plum down on the ground slowly.

Get to the end of the level or die?

Get to the level's end, jump to the pit and don't die (hanging the corner of platform) or die.

either get to the end of lvl or jump across the spark that activates him. or make him go on enemys i think

1: Touch him, and you'll both die
2: Reach the exit sign, and he'll die
3: Jump to your death, and he'll follow you
4: Touch Mister Dark (this only works if you only have one health point left)
