Somebody just sent me a Shiny, 6-IVs, obviously fake Ho-Oh through wondertrade. I seem to remember something about hacked pokémon being bad for your version. Am I fucked right now?

I don't think so because you weren't the one who created it, and even if you were to be punished for it the most you'd get is a ban from ranked battle spot which they'd find if you decided to actually use it on ranked.
Otherwise there's nothing wrong with it existing on your game file.
Well, they could've gone a lot less innocent with that line of merchandising for starters, and with more fan favourites in that department.

Uhm, that's definitely wierd. Is it wrong I am imagining that if it goes to the west, people will get the merchandise for more than simple collecting?... if you know what I mean.

Why do I think this will never be approved in the west?

That's not weird at all : Bronies would put their dick in anything that looks like an animal. Why not capitalize on it?

Oh god, that was an actual thing. (MLP plushies made with a 'hole' in it)
Although I don't think The Pokemon Company will go that far.

Oh god that reminds me of a story that someone told on facebook once, where he said that people would ask for pony plushies and say to not close the hole where you put the stuffing

As said before, both The Pokemon Company and Nintendo are very out of the loop with their audience. It makes me really depressed. Fans are just trying to share love. There really is no justification for it honestly.

I believe it is cases like this that shows how much greed levels have achieved for big companies and I personally find this scary for fans because if they do what they did just because of a poster, I don't want to imagine other cases.
One thing is sueing a company, now a fan... 3000$ make all the difference to the life of an individual, and I don't really think it would be because of that ammount that the enterprise would go bankrupt. :\
I know what are the reasons for this but still it gives me the feeling they have nothing else to do other than going fee hunting to get extra cash. I'm pretty sure once this gets sorted off, that fan will stop being a fan from that day on. It is sad, they really don't understand that there are people upset after this and already threatning to boycott the next game.
I know personally I don't want to buy a game from a company that's willing to commit financial murder to their fans! Such acts are awful at best and while we've all expected certain companies (Konami & EA) to pump out bullshit, such actions are unjustifiable for a company as large as The Pokemon Company. If they want me to continue being a consumer, they'll have to really prove to me that they care about their fans, otherwise there's plenty of other games to buy not by them.
