Region locking codes is just stupid. It should have auto convert option to convert to correct value of your region.

I personally would enjoy game better if it stayed with Mario. I think it would be a great addition to Mario franchise since it would be unique gameplay. People complained that New Super Mario Bros U was same game like New Super Mario Bros Wii but in HD and with Mario Splatoon, people would finally praise how they finally changed formula.

Also, since I know Brad and Rayfist check this thread a lot, we already had this discussion on Facebook so I would prefer not to just copy-paste all things we said there and argue what would be better
We have different views which is ok. I am just wondering to know what other Nintendo fans think about this. I think it could have also been perfect chance to use F.L.U.D.D too.

The only reason Mario might sound more appealing is because it's a series we know what to expect from. There's not a lot to say about Splatoon besides "squids and squid girls" but I'm pretty sure they've got something good going.

Try contacting Nintendo first. Got a free controller and 50$ game in exchange for my 15$ card once.

In retrospect, there has not been to many Mario IP's within his main series.

Yes, but seeing as this isn't a Platformer this game wouldn't even be in his main series. It would just be another Mario game.

Nintendo is teaming up with Playboy to promote Splatoon? I can understand why they did this with Bayonetta 2 but Splatoon? Jesus.

I can understand Bayonetta 2 since it was an M rated title but I really don't understand why Splatoon.

Why? I assume accidentally buying a wrong card doesn't warrant a replacement to-make-up-for-our-mistake from Nintendo's side, does it? x)

I got refund from Sony when I bought one game by mistake ^^
Nintendo Russia also gave me all Ambassador games two years after official event ended. Companies can be nice if right customer support guy is reading email/in call

Man, I just can't wait for Splatoon. I hope we get more game modes. We already have King of the Hill, Turf War, and another one I can't remember. We're also getting a lot of weapons, more than 15 have been announced. And we also get to customize our Inkling to our liking with shoes, shirts, and mostly importantly Hats!
