One year of military service is in principle obligatory for all men. The best suited for military service are assigned to either protect the border to Russia or protect the King. I got top marks in the IQ test, the hearing test and the eyesight test, and I was deemed to be in good physical condition, so I was selected to serve as a border guard for one year. < actually thinks it'll be fun. Everyone who's been there says it is.

Yeah 1 year of army is obligatory here too... it's no fun here though, actually it sucks very very much :/

My eyesight is so shit that I don't have to go through that though.
