Nice PS2. My plays PS2 imports good but when I play PS1 import a massive black bar is down so I must use TV remote and try my best to fix it. Some PS1 Imports also have slower sound. I guess you have different modchip. Mine is Toxic and you can even see that under PS2 logo when I play something.

@OCG, to be honest I have no idea what ModChip is installed. Maybe they just replaced the bios. The only clue I know is that seal in the back of my console.

How can I replace BIOS on my PS2?

That original sony flash chip must be cutted out of the motherboard and a new one with region free PS2 bios must be soldered. Like they're doing it with those Sega consoles.
