Absolutely. Especially with all this slang and shorthand going on.

if you ask me, the average people of britain are the worst speakers of english in the world. they don't even say 't's. for example, an ad i saw recently: "wo- does i- ma-er, jus ge- i-".

People from London or "The North" would speak like that often, yes.
