Time for horror movie now!
No no, I didn't bridge the hair and the head together, I've actually turned them into completely separate models (I needed to to incorporate the helicopter), but they still fit together like a puzzle piece. It only looks cracked in 3ds Max because I use a special shader in CryEngine3 that can blend two separate models together, which eliminates the problem when viewed inside the engine:

I think I understand that. I guess that means if I wanted to use my model, I have to do this too, right?
Edit: I notice in your model that the back of his head is kinda bald. There is even some skin at the base of his hair. Looks a little weird if I may say so.

Not really. They're either too lame (Paranormal Activity was pathetic), or too realistic, and I've seen a few too many real-life horrors to make me want to see an acted one on a screen.

Possibly, but that only needs to be adapted by the time you do the helicopter animation, which realistically shouldn't be high on the priority list.

Ah yes, I wanted to make the reddish part of the texture spread down a bit further. Now that I've separated the hair and the head that shouldn't be a problem to do.

Currently it's only helicopter hair with the standard falling animation, but I want to actually create a body animation for it. I'll do that and hopefully have a little video up by the end of the day. (Mind you I think I've created a pretty damn good helicopter texture. )

The video is...horrendous I mean, epic!
If I was making a helicopter animation I would make Rayman look like he's lying down on thin air with his hands behind his head as he slowly glided to the ground...that would be funny! At least- for me it would.
*Beebo44 hates Navi.* So freaking annoying..."Hey!" ..."Listen!" SHUT UP AND LET ME GET THE BIGGORRON SWORD NAVI! I DON'T WANT TO GO TO ZORA'S DOMAIN RIGHT NOW!!! LOL being angry at Navi is fun...
Hey rayfan, how do you plan on making cutscenes? D'you reckon it'll be hard?

I actually posted this in the wrong thread, I meant to post it here:
Nah, cutscenes aren't so hard. Just time consuming. It would be much easier if I had access to a motion capture suit. I actually kind of do, but I doubt I'm allowed. My friend's dad works at E.A. of Canada (which is two blocks from my house).
Trivia: Do you know what the two main themes for Rayman: Revenge of the Dark were inspired by? A: The one you hear as the first song in the very beginning of the first soundtrack part (one of the main themes), as well as during the day time in the dream forest, was inspired by The Brave Little Toaster! A2: The other frequently heard one (the one you hear during the night time Dream Forest as well as such other places as the second half of the "Menu Opening Theme" in part 13, and "Dream Forest Depths: The Thicket" from part 3), is heavily inspired by Rayman M/Arena's "Spellbound Forest!" I can also give a comparison:
Go to track 4 in the description:
Go to about 5:17:
Go to track 2 in the description:
And then if you're unfamiliar with the song, listen:

Your advancement is dumbfoundingly spiffing, my lass!
The geometry in the Dream Forest looks so much better now that there's a bit of rocky mountainous things and mushrooms to give it some tone. The rest of your progress has gone well too, I see. Keep up the amazing work!
Now, for a more heartily-written part of my post.
I hope you get better soon, RayFan; Swine Flu is dangerous! I think I had it too once, though I had a really really mild version meaning I only had a fever and felt like crud. I can't imagine what you're going through right now, but I sure hope that nasty experience will be over soon. The best of wishes and most of luck from me! Get well!

Why thank you Shroobie!
I'm trying as hard as I can to figure out the dilemma of the exclusively up-down movement when in mid-air. That is one of the things that will drastically improve the appearance and and playability to an almost perfect state.

Aaaalright Spanex. I wish you good luck with that hoodie. I suppose it'll be a challenge getting it to look just right.
Hey, does anyone here like Muse? I made this background in CryEngine3:
