Since there never was a Rayman on PSP other than a download of the PS1 version of Rayman 1, I wonder what team they'll assign to do games for the Vita...
Good lord dont talk about the abomination that the 3DS version of Sonic Generations is, the PS3/XBOX360 looks perfect but the 3DS :tssk:

I found it; it’s the GameSpot one.
We also caught a brief glimpse of Mr. Dark, Origins' principal villain, but because he was shrouded in a veil of dark mist, we couldn't see his face.

Will we take this as confirmation for the wiki?

I just wanna change that to 'maybe it's him' and delete the 'main antagonist' garbage, do I have to go through all that talk nonsense?!
When was it ‘proven false’ that Mr Dark would be the villain in Origins? One article specifically said that he would be the main antagonist, which is why I added this detail to the wiki. Another article told us that Mr Dark’s origins would be explained in the game. It’s extremely unlikely that the character in the trailer is someone other than Mr Dark; why would the game feature two different villains wearing dark cloaks and hats? I would be willing to make a very considerable wager of Tings that it’s him; any takers?
Actually, it wasn't proven as false, it's just that those articles that say he'll be the main antagonist can't be trusted and there was an article before them that said Mr. Dark will only be referenced in the game, and I think this one can be trusted. The trailer probably does depict him, but since this is not confirmed, it shouldn't be written in the wiki as a fact.

Too far Hunchman. Too far.
K.NARREN was not banned for apologising, which is one aspect of his last message, but for contributing to an argument I shut down, which is another one. He knows I appreciate him and there is nothing personal here, but he was the first person to keep arguing after my second warning, after which I decided to make it clear I was serious about closing this discussion. Us administrators and moderators are here to ensure the place remains as cool as possible and it won't be possible if we are not taken seriously, which I hope for the newcomers I am now.

There's probably only so much game journalists can talk about at this time giving that they were not exactly playing the full game...or were they?

Rayman Origins - March 13, 2012

Probablly fake since the game will be out this year or maybe they started devoloping the 3DS version later this year.

March is a long way to go yet, and plus I haven't heard of this site so we'll have to see as time goes.

I agree; it would be much better if the song of the Lums blended in with the background music rather than supplanting it.

I find it pretty ironic that this game was set to be out Winter 2010, and know winter 2011 :?: :!: :?: :!:

Last year it was set to be out in Winter 2010 as a episodic downloadble game, but Ubisoft made the right choice in making it a full retail game.
Of course they needed to work more, since the 1st episode of the game would only had like 4/5 stages and then some time later they would make other stages for the next episode

They didn't tell anything about a 3DS and Vita release (not even the PC) during the E3 2011. If they are planned for 2012, then they might only tell anything in the last months of the year.

By the way, Rayman Origins also won the Best E3 2011 Platformer award from Game Informer :D:

The game won in that category both in IGN and Game Informer. :)

For the record, I never saw your original posting asking for the argument to be closed. It's easily done, as this is such a large thread. Apolagies.

Also, seeing as it doesn't say 'moderator' under your username, I wasn't aware that you had any authority on here, as it were. Again, I apolagise.

So did Obama but no one said anything :tssk: .

About the game, I'm really glad they put in a ground pound attack! Although it's never been in a Rayman game (if I'm not mistaken, it's a new attack overall), it's a welcome addition to an already perfect game!

It isn't exactly a ground pound. It is more like a submission attack. Rayman does a fist downwards while falling with all his weight.

Yeah, but the others (especially Globox) do ground pound. They just fall downwards like Mario.

Edit: I wanted to ask something off topic- in R1, when you get a game over, do you return to the beginning of the game?

As Haruka said, coloured usernames indicate such positions. The full hierarchy can be seen in the All you need to know about Pirate-Community topic, which I invite you to read for more information. ;)
