Yeah of course, that makes sense. Similar with Christmas, but I still like it too. It's just more exciting as a kid really. I do still appreciate when people want to do stuff for your Birthday to show appreciation in a sense, but I also don't want to be old.

I guess my family is just differnt,,, My great great grandpa was always so excited for christmas apparently. He would put up his christmas tree as soon as the trick or treaters stopped showing up on halloween night!

I actually appreciate my birthday more these days, now that I don't have to think about people coming over and partying. Not that i mind the company but I'd prefer to have quieter celebrations than louder ones.

I wouldn't necessarily class being socially inept as being inherently introverted. Introverts tend to not like socialising and find it draining, but can still socialise rather well. I can imagine that just as much, there are folks who are extroverted and find socialising to be invigorating, but struggle to do so.

- ended up only going on a short walk because I was just not feeling a long one today. Means I'll have to do a proper one tomorrow
+ It's meant to be cooler tomorrow so hopefully it'll be a pleasant day to walk

I don’t know why my brain keeps lumping the terms “social” and “introvert/extrovert” together.

Basically what I’m saying is I’m capable of socializing but usually prefer to keep to myself.

Socialzation is very difficult for me.. i have autism and anxity so that isnt exactly surpising. I dont open up to people easily

I'm an introvert, but once you get me comfortable- I become a major extrovert

I’m alright with socialising at first, but I become really awkward around people after discovering they have the same interests as me and I don’t know why, it should be the opposite if anything

Technically I am too, but Irish people generally are very extraverted by default, so I probably just seem that way to others too.
