Hmmm, how about:

- The Top of the World for the first bullet.
- The Walk of Life and the Walk of Power for the second bullet. (i guess both of these count for bullet 1 too)
- Kind of a guess here, but I think of The Canopy for the third bullet.

-Also The Top of the World?
-The Menhir Hills

OK, well... let's say that (again) I forget to explicitly exclude the walk of life / power levels. :P

Without commenting on any of y'all's other answers - I am looking for an answer to bullet#2 that's not one of Ly's races. ;)

Since no one gave the answer I was looking for to bullet#2 (The Bayou), the point goes to The Jonster whose answer is correct. The Canopy was a good guess for #3. Menhir Hills does not have any trapped Teensies.

Question 21: Some objects from Rayman Origins reappear in Rayman Jungle Run, but in the mobile game they are worth fewer yellow lums. List two such objects.

With The Jonster being so far ahead, I'm going to post the second bonus question now, even though no one even tried for the first one. :D

Bonus Question 1: The US and UK releases of Rayman 3 for the PC differ in packaging and box artwork. There are also differences in the content of the manual. List as many such differences as you can.
Bonus Question 2: List all levels in Rayman 2 where Piranha warning signs appear.

Clarification: For either bonus question - whoever lists the highest number of correct items by the end of the season will get the point.

If enemies count as objects, then I'll say Skull Coins and enemies. Otherwise, not sure...

Yes, but they documented it in the manual. It's just there, "if you want it to be deadly, place a second row of seed types", or something like that. I first read it on a website without realizing it was plagiarized from the manual, so I wondered if it was "deadly" in the Dublin-slang sense, meaning "awesome". Once I realized it was indeed the Creepy Evil Plant of my nightmares, I became paranoid about playing seed Rayman Designer levels in case someone decided to randomly put one in there :oops2:
dr_st wrote: Fri Jan 12, 2024 11:50 am Since no one gave the answer I was looking for to bullet#2 (The Bayou)
Wow, I had absolutely no idea! And the reason for that is that I'd say it's been over 20 years since I've "replayed" that level (i.e. not on a fresh playthrough), assuming I ever did at all! :oops2: (I'm sure I did way way back, when I still hadn't found all the Lums!)
dr_st wrote: Fri Jan 12, 2024 11:50 am Bonus Question 2: List all levels in Rayman 2 where Piranha warning signs appear.
Let's see… Fairy Glade, Marshes of Awakening, Bayou, Sanctuary of Water and Ice, Whale Bay, Echoing Caves (at the mill in part 1), Sanctuary of Rock and Lava (somewhere at the beginning of the level?), Iron Mountains

Wow, the start of that list is practically every level, then they suddenly become rarer!

You are correct! There are plenty of Lividstones that give 0 lums. Skull Coins give 20 instead of 25.

Question 22: List three functional objects in Rayman's jail cell in Rayman Raving Rabbids, and the function of each.

You think there would be one in the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava, but there isn't. Or if there is, I couldn't find it. Everything else is correct and you didn't miss one as far as I know! Would be unfair not to give you the point now. :P

Bonus Question 1: The US and UK releases of Rayman 3 for the PC differ in packaging and box artwork. There are also differences in the content of the manual. List as many such differences as you can.

The record player, lets you listen to different music tracks which can be won throughout the game.

Toliet, lets you "replay the day", I think it either lets you replay minigames, or tells you how you did on them.

Wardrobe, lets you chose between different outfits for Rayman.

Yep, that's what I figured… I was paranoid about missing one, but I just couldn't picture it! Good to know my first instinct was correct!

You are correct and fast! I tried to observe the 1-hour between questions rule, so I didn't ask a new one immediately. Then I went to sleep. :oops2:

There's a "bat", a bomb and a gun point. They indicate which enemy are you facing every time you reach the top of the bar. As there are 3 symbols, you'll face 3 different types of enemies.

I'm very sure the yellow CD was from the European version (which is the one I've always seen) and the blue CD was from the American version. I think the third color was purple, but I can't remember the details (maybe a very specific company which sold the game?).

Fun fact: I know that a very specific newspaper here in Spain gave you the PC version of Rayman 1 as a "gift" for buying it. This CD is silver, but I highly doubt it's the same for other countries

A good effort, but I did say "original" releases, meaning not compilations/expansions. Also, in Rayman Forever - the front brochure was green, but the CD itself was blue. :)

Right again! The purple CD was the SmartSaver/SoftKey/The Learning Company release. I have all three in my physical copy collection.

So, since no one answered what I thought was a fairly easy RRR question, time for a HARDER RRR question!

Question 26: In Rayman Raving Rabbids you can find:
  • A banner in the arena which may be considered a reference to a known Rayman compilation
  • A painting in Rayman's "royalty jail cell" which parodies a famous painting
Describe both items.

We're going to have to go back to the main games that everyone knows. But just for the fun of it, since we've had two unanswered questions in a row, I will make an exception in the official rules, and turn the last question into the elusive and undocumented Bonus Question 3. :P
