Who are you, the frame rate police?
Oh, You're the same Haruka that commented on my Rayman 1 pic.Haruka wrote:Indeed... I'm working on a Real-Life Size Masks of Polokus project, I still must continue it, however this is the base I've made: http://haruka-tavares.deviantart.com/ar ... -132367259

The N64 versions runs at 60fps in America?Phoenixan wrote:It could even just be the data dump itself too, really. The only one I know of that's out there is the same EU version I come across everywhere, which is a shame considering it runs at 50 fps (and you can tell in the animations) compared to the smooth 60 fps of the US console versions. While I'm pretty sure you don't notice this on a TV, since the UK signals run at 50 fps anyway, you sure as shit notice it in an emulator if you've just been playing a US version of a game rom.
Damn right it does, and the slickness of the animations and movements shows it off for sure.spiraldoor wrote:The N64 versions runs at 60fps in America?
I thought only the Dreamcast version ran in 60fps?Phoenixan wrote:Damn right it does, and the slickness of the animations and movements shows it off for sure.
I figured that out myself while I was fooling around with the options. That alpha blending thing REALLY fucks with GoldenEye, though.Phoenixan wrote:About the particles effects though as I've seen someone else comment on: that's actually an emulation error as well. You have to alter the graphics to "force alpha blending" (for the default graphics plug-in anyway) and they show up as their proper shape and color.
Ima like it.

That's why you switch it off when you're done playing.[/quote]Phoenixan wrote:I figured that out myself while I was fooling around with the options.
